In fact, some of the best profs at LIBA are the ones who teach HR-related subjects. As regards to info about the profiles offered for HR guys, I'll get back to you after speaking to a few seniors.

With one of the best LIBArated ever now past, the stage is now set for Insight '08 (LIBA's National Management Symposium) to be conducted on November 13th and 14th. The top brass of some of the best firms from Infrastructure, Realty, FMCG, Consumer Durables and BFSI have confirmed their participation for the event. Representatives of companies as diverse as GMR Infra, NM Rothschild, Jones Lang La Salle, Panasonic, Std. Chartered, Cavin Kare etc., will participate in this conference. (LIBA - Insight' 08)

This will be followed by the Business Plan contest(in association with IDG Ventures, and TiE) in November, which promises to be another block-buster event. (Business Plan Competition, venture captial, contest, liba, idg ventures, tie chennai)

BIM-Trichy recently held Parakrama, the showcase Business Strategy Simulation game, as a part of its Management Fest. The first prize of Rs.25,000 was bagged by LIBAites (had to happen ) Congo to Pallavi, Gagan, Paromita and Deepti!! You made us proud!!

XAT percentile is not taken into consideraton for final selection after the calls are issued... Ur final selection to LIBA therefore depends on how u have fared for the GD/PI n ur profile... There is no special preference for anyone during this stage...

well if u r planning to do distance education mba den i must say dat do consider icfai as me too doin it from icfai.
may be while doing d survey regarding d same u will get lot of negative responses from ppl as same happened with me but still i joined and now m happy as dere is nuthing like dat i m unable to understand y ppl r having bad opinion for it may be fees is d reason but do consider it as dey will provide u with regular degree at the cost of distance learning.also nvr go by ppl sain dat u will nt be able to clear its exams as me too is an average student with average academic record but still m able to cumplete my group a while doin job.
so take an alert decision
