When have they asked u to report at IIM A tripps???

OMG!
IIMA has dared to give out buffer calls.

The RTI reply says that 386 calls have been accepted by the students whereas the total no. of seats are 385.

The RTI reply also says that 186 students have confirmed in general category whereas total no. of seats in general category is 182.

This automatically means that in some categories, the total no. of seats are not full as of now. So the waitlist for some categories should have atleast moved. Why it hasn't moved?

What would they do in case all the 186 general candidates turn up for registration and confirm their acceptance? will they operate the batch with more batch strength.?

Can anybody clear the above doubts?

No, didn`t think this query will be of much use. We know of so many GEN category people who have not paid 5000 bucks. So, assuming they didn`t give buffer calls, waitlist will move in June.

Guys, One of my friends at IIM A told me that this time IIM A has given 400 odd calls for its 370 odd seats. He got this info from student secretary of his batch.

But couldnt confirm the accuracy of this info.

I have a quiery. I gave Cat got 89.XX%ile....
got calls from IIM-L (reject) from new IIM's (No hope) as it based on my lucknow interview...which went very bad..IIT-Bombay(wl-30)..
I am 26now..with 2years IT & 2.5yrs PSU work ex..
So should i consider writing again CAT..unable to deside...
My Gf is in an IIM ...already...want to come out from the PSU...so shd i give an other shot??? confused...

At 89 percentile, I think u should have got calls from all the IIMS. If not B atleast A and C. What happened?

Don worry man. WL - 4, I think is a sure convert at IIM C.

Btw i am also at WL -5 in IIM A.

Guys.. I had converted IIM B and C. I chose C over B. Waitlisted candidates of B ( sc category ) can take note of it.

Should we paste a photograph in the acceptance form to be sent?
