@krish_krispy hi there, i remember this rule about modifiers, the modifier should be placed as close as possible to the word/phrase it modifies, in this question 'it' definitely creates a confusion ....but we can (perhaps) safely assume that it here refers to the chocolate. Might be wrong about...

Due to menas ...caused by ...and becasue ... is the reason...
we often use them interchangeably but that is wrong ...we should use 'due to' only when it substitute for caused by,
1.The match got canceled due to/because of rain.

1. JUDGEMENT
2. JUDGEMENT
3.INFERENCE- because the second half of the sentence is a fact whereas ...the first part is judgement.... a judgement / subjectiveness based on some fact...
