hey puys! Long time..
May be i should again introduce myself. am currrently working in a psu bank. Its been 5 months now.
it has beena good experience so far. But the 6 days a week is really taking its toll. sat ke half day ka koi meaning nahi hota hai. bas thoda jaldi nikal jaate hain compared to rest of the days.

I have applied in NIC today. heard its 5 days a week. So if anybody who is working in NIC could throw some light abt the role of a generalist , working hours, promotions etc that would be really helpful.
Also if somebody has any ques regarding po ka profile. would definitely answer them.

no, i havent got it, but the hr at zonal office said that to report on monday with medical report.

With medical report???
i thought we just have to go there n BOB will get the medical done.

EVEN I DIDNT KNOW KI ITNA LATE BHI SPEED POST AATI HAI..
have to report to new delhi office before 3oth for medical examination and before 10th sept for doc verification.

If u have more than 60% in ur grad then u r definitely have first class.
doesnt matter what ur clg says. The standard criteria of anyone gettin more than 60% is a first divisioner.

Sign the letter, it hardly matters. Ven u go on the joining day, show all yr credentials, fill up the employee bio data form then you become their employee.

@people confused about choosing which bank to join and which to leave :P

hai i have got bob offer letter yesterday only. I am asked to report at Greater mumbai zone on 10th. medical at hyd on or before 30th of this month

I dont think i'l have to sign n send the papers seeing that ppl have started recieveing the offer letter..

@sureshnaragani congrats for ur letter.any idea why u got posting in mumbai? BOb is not setting up a doctor? U have to get it done on ur own.?

close your eyes and wait for the BOB offer letter, one guy here in pagalguy was sharing his ironical situation with me few days back, he is in Indian Bank in scale 1 with the bond amount of 1 lakh, he got selected in scale II in PNB as specialist officer, but isn't getting the release from Indian bank even after offering the entire bond amount,

BOB is a huge brand

'u r willing to join....nt joined'............regarding indian bank vs bob..then if u have long term plans in banking sector then drop indian bank and go for bob (promotions are very gud here and its business is growing with high value customers).....but if nt, like u want to switch over to some other field or org then bob or indian...koi khas farak nahi h.....
