So he took the Appendix A to the Soldier Board for the stamp and signature...what they did is that instead of filling in the appendix, they created a document mentioning every required information..

Now, my only concern is that, do we have to send in the original copy or do we have to send a true copy of this document...?

substiute the values and solve...

I was just going through NDTV a couple of minutes back in which one of the representatives from IIM L was answering the queries of students.

Somebody asked him about how are they planning to manage the problem of question being repeated in the slots and students of slot 1 passing on the questions to slot 2 students.

And the answer was absurd..at least for me...what he mentioned is that, there is gonna be a normalization across all the 20 test centers and all such glitches will be compensated with the normalization theory that they are going to implement.

Is it fair...They are going to give equal weight age to all such question....
There may be many students who might have spent time attempting such questions which they are going to be paid for at a later stage no matter they attempt it or not.........

for me, this is lame...

today.. 2nd cat of my life..and probably the last dont ask the reason for this..looooooooooonnngggggg story

anyways my center was at CMRIT college at bangalore. i had heard that there were no server crash problems or system restart problems at this center.. but no..something had to happen wen i would be giving test.

well, the security check, photograph taken and biometric test went smooth.. no hitches.. then came a big looooooooonnnnnnnnnggggg wait of 1.5hrs. started the demo, that moment only, system got shut-down. some problem with UPS of the whole lab. wow.. i hoped sincerely - "god, let no problem come when i m giving the actual exam".

now, as soon as i started the exam, the first question that flashed was VA, and i had already made up my mind which section to do first..so clicked on review button, then double clicked on the first question of next section.. lo and behold, there came a msg on the screen - "exam terminating".. u can actually imagine my mental state. but then i realised most of the people from my lab also got the same problem. after 5mins, the normal screeen came. started the test again..and again in 10mins, again test stopped wen i tried to click on one option. saw people solving questions near-by and i was staring at my screen like an idiot

again exam started after 5mins, and then after 10mins, proctor started tellign to switch off our respective systems due to some default.. and we were all like sitting idle for 15mins nw..nt evryone ws idle.some people had jotted down questions to do later in their rough sheet,and they were busy solving it. really..wat does this exam mean..wen some people hv an unfair advantage of scoring 3-4questions in free time..

2-3 more times my cat test got restarted and wen i was wishing, now shut down this system, so that i ll hv extra time, none of that happened

so total time of my exam took (including all the problems) 3hrs. and it got over at 1.45pm .

now coming to the paper, it ws of moderate level. nt too difficult. but then man, i needed concentration to do better in cat.

advice - just try to keep your cool even wen there is problem with ur system and ur test keeps on restarting time and again

Moral of the story.....

be prepared for the worst from the beginning itself...the other guys acted smart and so had a advantage...

earlier we used to worry about the difficulty level of the exam...we always used to prepared for the worst QA or DI, or VA...

Now, when the conditions have changed and the paper is a bit on the moderate site (accd to those who took the test)...just be mentally prepared for one or the other obstacle...

Why am saying this....no game is ever won by panicking....if you know about the obstacles on the first hand, u will be much more attentive...

that's what I feel...the choice is yours...

Just had a conversation with one of my friends who took the exam in Ahmedabad..His test went smooth...

And he did not complained about anything...

According to him, the paper was easy...VA a bit tough and DI was average...
To my surprise, he said that he found the quant easy...attempted around 9 and he is confident about 100% accuracy...

Note...this guy did not prepared even for a single day and found the paper easy...

so guys...get ur spirits high and give ur best on the day for which you have waited since long...

Personal advice:

Assume the worst to happen on the D-day...

Asume that the server is bound to crash and let the test start again..
Assume that the staff is gonna take long to get u started with the test...
Assume that it is gonna take u more than 7 hrs to finish the whole process...

Moral: If you already know that it is bound to happen and u cnt do anything about it...u won't feel uncomfortable...

If u will keep complaining about the poor infra and management, it is only gonna hamper ur chances of giving ur best....
