Hi people, i am an engineer (2011).
I have been working with TCS for past 6 months.
I am interested in knowing details like what are the various PO exams like IBPS and SBI PO? when will they be held next ? Is it too late to apply ?
When are the next exams scheduled?

i had a girl from wipro in my batch. i dunno why u guys are changing jobs. anyways, exams are held every year, on an almost regular basis. the results of the latest sbi p.o exams are out, so i guess it will be a long time before the next dates are out. there is no fixed schedule of either sbi p.o or ibps. keep reading employment news. (moderators, forgive me if i am giving these answers in a wrong thread. i guess, there is a different thread for bank p.o aspirants. this thread is basically for experience sharing, i believe. sandeep, plz take note)

1. came across something like M.S in Invstmnt Bking from Univ of westminster, london. Is such qualification at par with MBA from IIMs or am I kidding?

2. btw, received rude shock when u said many articles in WSJ are pure BS. I was big fan of articles appearing in WSJ - had high regards for them. anyways, not much of an issue.

:-Pgd to see so many ppl interested in HR. i am really interested in HR but in the 2-3 companies that i have worked in, i didnt see HR doing any real stuff. also, very few people that i have personally met really want to go into HR. everyone wants to be a finance/equity research or something of that sort.
1.i am a psychology graduate and very much into the subject. i feel HR is my call. will i get into a gd HR consulting firm / or a good HR role in any company if i pursue PGD's in distance mode. i have no prior HR experience (my work-ex pertains to banking).

2.also i am in the 25-30 age group and even if i pursue fulltime MBA in HR (most probably from a tier-2 B-skool as the fee there is less) i might have jst crossed 30 by the time i complete MBA. will the companies be willing to take me up in a HR role at say 30-32 yrs of age?

this is a hugely useful thread for those who only get attracted to IB looking at its sky-hi image without knowing wht it really entails.

i am from humanities background bt gt interested in numbers/finance after doing a brief stint at a leading Bank in India. Is IB for me? i understand tht u had mentioned in 1 of the posts tht fr analyst, even persons with mech engg (for example) will do as long as they pass out of IIM and the likes.

bt if a humanities student aspires to be IB, is it a bit too much?
