MDI PGPM for me finally at 722.

At merit rank 722 just missing pgpm its quite painful when i wanted it very badly.can anyone tell whether there will be any other upgradation list to pgpm?

Last year....same day on 20th June last list was declared in which
PGHR stretched till 767
IM til 724.
PGPM till 614.

and by the end of the day people had started getting mails for the ''Possibility of Admission'' i.e. the counselling on the 26th...

last year also people were asking seniors ..will the counselling take place this year or not :D

all seems to go the same way....jus hope mails for counselling start floating !!!!! fingers crossed :)

What was lowest for MDI? Any idea?

Although it has not been declared officially but I think its around 6.5-7.5 lacs for mdi.

so u consider urself inferior to everyone who has a cat percentile greater than you and you consider urself superior to everyone with a percentile less than u.

talking about diversity, i would absolutely love to study in a classroom where people come from different backgrounds. it would be so uninteresting to study in a class full of engineers most of whom will have terrible IT work exprncs.. but diversity is not possible as engineers will always score more in any comp exam because the brighter ppl take up science in scool and then all science guys end up doing engg..

Well my friend its not about feeling superior or inferior to anyone, but atleast these iims should give some respect to their own exam and if they can't then why take it every year and give false hopes to people like me who are not having that superb profiles.
And as per diversity is concerned, how would u feel if u dont get admission in an institute just because ur seat being given to some others on diversity basis when u know that u r more deserving.

If I'm not wrong, then there was a deadlock kind of a situation last year mainly because results for the old IIMs were released after MDI results and people were not withdrawing candidature from MDI either. As a result the first waitlist movement took almost 1 month and there was a brisk movement after that.
A senior would be in a better position to confirm this...

No dude as far as I remember iim results were announced on 18th april whereas mdi were announced on 22nd april.
