I had a query about a very basic fundamental. I plan to apply to about 5-6 B schools in the next 4-5 months. I definitely will require recommendations for all of them. Do you ask the same recommenders again and again and again for recommendations? How do you work this out.

No u dont ask them again and again fr the recommendations but take one letter from them which has it written on the top "To whomsoever it may concern".....no need to mention any institutes name in the letter..

If possible try to take 2-3 original letters...u can even sumit the xeroxed copies to the colleges n show them the original one during the interview..

Because I didn't get any mail in last few days.
Is any specific information there in that mail?

Heyy even i didnt get ne mail tday....i got an sms frm welingkar sayng the ff starts on the 25th at 9.00 am...it also said-check ur mail...but i havent recd ne ...did u guys get the sms????

according to my info.--35 ppl have been given admission in d 3rd list...
i paid my fees fr pgdm on the 8th and my receipt no. was 154...
when i asked the person at the counter of the relevance of the number he said it had nothing to do with the number of seats left or nething....so guys plzz stop makin predictions on management seats..
agreed that welingkar has a higher no seats fr management compared to other cllgs but its not dat there r not enough merit seats...i myself know of 2 ppl gttng through pgdm-mumbai dis yr nd me being the 3rd one...

Guyys i think der is too much of imagination being used by d waitlisters....
things like nirma has started selling seats etc. have no grounds
though i have got through nirma in d first list itself i can understand d plight of d waitlisters...
but der is definately a reason behind d waitlist not moving much and it DEFINATELY has to do wid d proposed increase of seats....
a similar thing happened wid XIMB dis year...d processing and getting approval is a long process and frm wat i knw nirma has asked fr d increase much late than wat ximb did...
so it is possible dat nirma may hve given calls accordingly or else r holding back on d waitlist movement..
give dem sme tme..it seems dey r demselves not clear of d situation..

heyy guys i got through we-school pgdm at mumbai campus....finally tday.was really upset wen i didnt gt it in the first list...but den i was confident wid d marks i had..(xat-99.5 cat-96.4)
