christ coll is offering pg in mass comm. Its a new course - i think this years batch would be the third one. I've no idea how the placements are like, but i got an offer and took it up.

The admissions are over for this year. They start giving out the application forms during May.

i need info!! Im joining christ in bang in a months time, now i've got a laptop but I want to know about internet connection. The hostel where im going to be staying does not have an internet cable connection (it dosent even have a plug point in the rooms!), ive heard something about internet prepaid connection cards. Did i hear wrong? If i heard right can someone please elabourate ......I know im going to stay late night typing away furiously and i will need the net.

i'd suggest that you could learn a foreign language in the meanwhile.

I would suggest you enroll in a short term course that you have an interest in. It would be a credit to you and should it come up during the interview just clearly articulate the advantage you saw in making this decision.

You could also look out for a job. Ideally find one which allows enough time to study for the cat exam.

But remember...cat requires a strong focus. Dont try and juggle too many things.

Maybe we should exchange blood reports before we talk or get to know anyone. Maybe we should just carry our blood reports around just like our driving licences or PAN cards or social security cards....maybe that'll reduce some of the cynicism we see today

this is a pretty extreme situation.

But i agree with the need to have a blood test before the marriage. If, god forbid, either you or your partner is dectected with some sort of discease it need not be the case of tata goodbye....but it would help in doing the required thing now and potencially save the person's life.

Remember the more information you have....the more informed you are to make decisions. Whatever the decision you take!
