have no idea about the seats available... got the mail ystrday... nmat score 84 + 2 years work ex..... given 2 days to deposit fee...

and i have 30 months of ex.

I got mail for MQ on 7th and than i cleared in merit on 9th.

i also got call for mq... can u tell if 4.6 lacs is for 1 year or 2 ???

Well earlier I could relate NIRMA and management in only one way...but now i have to relate it wrt seats also:(:(

My reasons:
1) I see atleast 20 people on PG itself who call IMNU every other day. I have its number mugged up now...and till date this 180 seats figure had never come up...Everyone at NIRMA's end kept on saying yes 120 calls...etc.
Hiding something is still acceptable...but giving wrong information is definitely not. Had they not picked up my phone, I would be fine, but they picked up and said theat they gave 120 calls( which is not true)
2) How can they give confirmed calls to 60 people without getting an approval? It was in news when they were approved so lets not fool anybody.
3) We cannot even digest 19/120 figure and they now want us to believe...19/180...haha!!

If all these rumours or news or whatever is true, I see NIRMA will see their number of applicants figure falling next year. We are humans and we think alike. The entire Admission scenario of NIRMA might be true but surely not believable.
I wnt to think and believe what my heart says(since it is about NIRMA)...but my logical mind makes me think like this...
NIRMA please dont make a reputation what Symbi has..please be transparent atleast!!

I request seniors if u can bring Mr. Nair, Mr. Vyas or Mr. Prashant...or any other NIRMA authority to answer our queries/concerns directly here. This will be beneficial for both sides because had everything been replied/answered correctly, nobody would have said all this....'dhuan wahin uthta hai jahan aag hoti hai'.

Please dont reply that be patient and wait and watch...thats what we have been doing all this while...we need answers which we deserve to know...

There was a news in newspapers in Gujarat that AICTE has approved some 27000 seats in gujarat( management, engg, pharma, etc inclusive).
I called up NIRMA today and there was Mr. Prashant who confirmed the increase in seats...however when I asked about the chances till the w/l will convert he said there is no waitlist movement. So expect upto 70-80 only.
Park the second part and enjoy for the first part. Looks like, we will soon see mails from IMNU in our mailboxes. All the best to everyone!!

Whats the matter with NIRMA I dont know...When I called up NIRMA yday- they suggested me to take the draft back. I said I want to hold on to the admission process, still he wanted to convince me to take the DD back. He dint seem irritated/frustrated. But I still am not able to figure out as to why he wanted me to take the DD back:shocked:

I was made to believe that I have negligible chances to convert..my WL 97

What was the reason and rationale behind the delay last year??

There has to be some rationale behind the delay. See, last year our results were delayed and all of us were pretty upset about it. We speculated too much and were rather harsh on the institute by calling is unprofessional. But later, when we got to know the reason and rationale behind the delay, we had no complaints.

And yes, the results will be on Emails. And FYI, most of the colleges have this Email system in place rather than uploading them on the website. Now the movement will be on day to day bases, so it is better to send out Emails than to update the website everyday.

My advice to you all, do not worry about the results as they will be out very soon and there will be a happy ending for most of you, if not all. At the same time, I understand your anxiety, but there is very little you can do about it.
