I have been searching for Official Guide for Gmat Review, 11th edition and ordered through some of the wellknown sites also. But got "No Stock" reply. The book has gone out of stock everywhere. Can someone give an idea about the availability of book on any Indian website. Its urgent plssssssss.
if u want a soft copy.. goto esnips.com , u will find it thr..
i met the guy u r talking about in my kozhikode interview. he was in my gd panel and i thnk we were the last 2 candidates to be interviewed and we had a lng chat
He was pretty clear that he wanted an IIM even after one year at FMS, he said that an IIM is a IIM and leave alone C he would have taken any IIM for that matter.(was quiet tense before his interview to do well)
My motive is not to demean any college , just wanted to share this specific info that i had abou the query from a puy.
PS: my personal opinion is that u really can't compare FMS and IIMC, they are way apart, but to leave after a year is something to be decided keeping a lot of oder factors in mind apart from pure merit of cllgs
dude.. ur comments are really appreciated..! especially when u spare ur valuable time in visiting FMS thread time an again.. n evangelizing lesser mortals like us..!!
I'm going to withdraw my admission sometime early next week since its not possible for me to go to Delhi this week. I would like to thank the seniors.. CATCALL, amitnsitian, puneet.kokru and everyone else for all their help throughout the entire process! Amazing work!
All the best!
Saw on IIM thread.. amitnsitian is also leaving for C.. but it wont affect the WL movt of r batch..
i dont knw much about NITIE, i did not do any research on it, coz i never even thought of applying there... most of my batchmates had nitie converts, n they left nitie to come to MDI. i can comment on nitie, but i certainly can on MDI.
the post to which anuj just responded had wrong facts. it is naive to think that summer internship process can be finished in 3 days. at all b schools it takes much longer. i can assure u that MDI never stopped trying for the students who did not get placed in the week 0. in fact even the profiles offered a month after week 0 were very good.
in fact v were shocked to hear that one of the top schools had published its summers report when about 70 of these students were left unplaced. the placement cell of that college told students to start looking for internships themselves. believe me if u hear the name of this school, u would be shocked, n would not believe me... but its a fact, n u would knw it once ur into a b school.
MDI on the other hand never told students to find internships on their own. companies kept coming in, arranged by the placement cell. i can state with full conviction that not a single student had to get an internship on his own, it was all done on campus.
i do not want to compare MDI's placements with anyone, but i am sure all my seniors passed out happy with the offers they got. also i can proudly say that i was happy to see the placement scene with my own eyes, because i was always sceptical that placement reports r cooked up... i was happy to c that this as not the case at least at MDI.
anuj (badman) would be the best person to respond to detailed placement questions, but i have given u my view... i can assure u watever u have heard was a load of bullshit.
so then it does mean... that summer internships took a lot of time??...
please see I am not questioning MDI's integrity in getting those students placed..
