Thanks for the detailed response. So if I sit back to calculate the entire 1st year "estimated" expense for me; on the guidelines above it should be as follows.(Calculating everything on higher end)

1>Living -$1000 * 12 - $12,000 (since my Copper beech room alone costs $522)
2>Books -$250 * 2 - $500
3>Global immersion - $2500
4>Other fees to be paid to school besides tuition - $1000.

Total - $16,000

So total first year expenses would be - $16,000.
Approximate GA funding would be - $6,500.

So I conclude that we need to shell approx $9,500- 5 lac INR in the first year ??
Kindly let me know if this is correct?

Also in second year I assume owing to internship/ increase in GA stipend/absence of global immersion this figure of INR 5 lacs($9,500) may be even lesser ?

2>Add expenses for books - 200-250/module.
3 >Global immersion- 1700+ (depends on location and life style ) San Francisco is least costly and then comes India, China, and Chile. Take something ranging from 2200 to 3000 will be a descent estimate

We took the WA drive aprt as u already know, the VISA is on track.

I have a few queries on finances.

How much estimated expense does a student typically occur on living+global immersion + books etc in 1 st year ? just want a ball park estimate. as per this link{http://www.smeal.psu.edu/mba/admission/finance.html} its >$20,000. But through my interaction to few students I learned that the actual figure may be much less than this ? Your thoughts on the same as per your recent experience ?

As per Tepper's Adcom, March 16th is the deadline for R2 applicants to hear back from them - be it interview calls/acceptance/ or rejection.

I have not received an interview call yet. My status on the application is still 'Under review by Adom'. so I have a feeling this may be a rejection for me. Did anyone get emails from Tepper today? Im looking for a ray of hope, please !! :)

Same boat, since did not hear for them since long - I accepted another offer last week. Not even excited about the Tepper decision now. Another hard worked application sinks today
