Hi, I am an MBA student and am going to give FRM level 1 this november.Have got the schweser notes and handbook for the same.Just wanted to know about the prepareation for FRM level 2.
Can i by ne chance prepare for level 2 as well by this november so that i can give both the levels on the same day.Suggestions welcome.

Times change saarjee! Transition in power happens in football all the time. Just like the buoyed few today were absolute mediocre say a decade back. They've risen...so will the grand daddys.

I feel the transition has already begun in the English Isles with Man City trouncing their City Counterparts off their perch.Liverpool has a long long way to go to come anywhere close to Man City ,Utd or Chelsea at the moment.No Marquee signings,a manager with no overtly great past or future ambitions.
I believe the BPL this year will be hotly contested by City,Utd and Chelsea only as Chelsea has definitely become a strong force again.

I'm not sure whether it was a stellar performance by the Portuguese or dismal show put up by the Czech. The Czech's were vastly disappointing, with only some nimble passing here & there. Even after conceding the goal they were not able to even keep possession of the ball, let alone attack & threaten the defense. At times U feel as if there were 22 Portuguese players on the field! Anyways, Portugal makes it to the Semis, & that should silence the critics.

Lets see how the Greeks put up against the Germans, though I doubt the Greeks would raise any eye-brows the way the Germans are playing. But U never know...

+1 to that.Czech didnt really put up a fight.To be true i felt the match was not worthy of being a QF.There was no spirit,no initiative and no action from the Czech.It was a whte flag raised that we're happy with a QF qualification.

But anyways,Portugal are into the last 4 and Ronaldo indeed has a platform to prove that he is a force to reckon on the international arena as well

I don't think Spain has looked nearly as good as the previous tournaments. Villa is a big big miss and in the matches against Italy and Croatia, he would have made the difference as he did in the WC. The defense isn't that strong either....Arbeloa has been poor for few months now barring the bayern/barca week where he was quite decent. Pique has been making too many mistakes and has made brainfarts a regular part of his game. Alba is young but currently is a downgrade from Capdevila. Xavi and Xabi both are not in the WC form.

Iniesta has been the best player, with Silva, Casillas and Fabregas putting in good performances. Busquets has been quite bad too especially against Italy. He needs to be dropped for Cesc. I am amazed Llorente hasn't got a look in atleast as a sub...I think he deserved the chance more than Negredo.

As for England...they have managed to stay unbeaten in their three matches, but have been rather poor in their play. Har din sunday nahi hota....lekhin they are playing their match on a sunday, so you never know :P

Greece has yet to face a top quality nation in this edition whereas Germany has gone through portugal as well as Netherlands.I believe they will be too hard for greece to manage.I would put my money on the fact that Germany vs Greece would be the most lop sided QF. Spain vs France is all about a team that hasnt played to potential vs a team that has tried to copy Spain unsuccessfully.

Spain needs to solve a few problems up front barring which they have been great.France has been fluidic against Eng and Ukraine but sweden was a roadblock which can easily frustrate their wills.And i guess that has happened as can be seen in the dressing room fiasco news.

My semi finalists are
Czech- The upset of the line up
Germany- No questions about it
Spain - They are playing better than their opponents
Eng-Their form is oscillating, defence wealer than Italy but i have a hunch lady luck will take them through

@barcaboy, A slight correction to ur semifinal lineups. The winner of Czech Republic-Portugal will face the winner of Spain-France, while the winner of Germany-Greece will face the winner of England-Italy.

Thanks for the correction @man_05 .That makes the route for spain a litter easier than ther germans as they will be facing an easier team in the semis than Joaqim Low's men

The france result last night mite suit spain a lot.They would definitely prefer facing france in the quarters than eng coz the english defence would draw a leaf from the chelsea book and definitely looks much more organized than that of france.

They would have caused a lotta problems to the spanish tiki taka.As a pleasant corollary France have being trying to emulate spain's game of passing to death and have been beaten at that by the tournament fringers sweden so they might be in a soup to rework their strategies.

And copying spain against spain is definitely not a good idea coz the total footballers of spain would boss the game and tell the french who the daddy is :biggrin:.

So france definetely needs to come up with more solutions on how to breach the spanish armada.When it comes to spain,they'll be more than waiting for the french encounter to begin.
