Apparently most of you are not very clear about the autonomy of NITIE. While like IIMs, it does have leeway regarding certain matters, it is slightly less autonomous than IIMs when it comes to certain type of decision making. The reasons are more political than legal. Hence, it is unlikely it will be able to declare a very clear path-ahead.
I fail to see how the freaking out of the junta will help in getting any more info. And post SC declaration, ppl have gone hysterical on this thread. Not a very sound managerial display of handling tense situations...

While the Whole world is speculating what will happen... Our own IMPACT has lost touch with us i think...

While it is impossible for them to make concluding statement sbut i think they can come up with some possible options and what the outcome would be if that choice is adopted.

I hope to see IMPACT as more approachable entity....

What step have they taken regarding OBC candidates ? U said "following SC way"...but how have they dealt with OBC guys called for GD PI ??Outright rejection ??? or any official communication from them on steps followed ?

Browsing thru the IIF Results ( 07-09) thread in PG i found that the administration there are saying that once the result are declared ....they cannot give that gave. This means they wont allow SC stay.

Is the same possible with NITIE???

i was going through the IITM thread where a student coordinator told that they are following SC order...

Secondly they too had declared the result before Sc Order after SC stay they have removed the OBC list and came out with results.
