10th-73%(ICSE)
12th-74%(CBSE)
B.Tech-76%(UPTU)
do i have any chances for getting good mba colleges with the average academics.
i am preparing for cat.
please reply asap!!

Yes you surely can get through some of the best colleges, but you need to work hard enough to get a high %ile to offset your average acads.

Bottom line, don't get bogged down by what's past, focus on what you have at hand and make the most of it. All the best

after watching aus open final 2012 between djoko and nadal ,
one question :
can federer play with such intensity ??????(and this come from the avid federer fan who was supporting djoko only to see nadal loosing ..)

One problem that I see with Federer nowadays is the number of unforced errors, in almost every game he plays. That he doesn't get stretched by the lesser players indicates his class, but he's inevitably found wanting against the better players like Nadal and Djokovic. Even against Nadal, he started so well and was truly on the aggressive, but once again, the unforced errors crept in and Nadal found a way to claw back in :-(

Federer still plays his way of aggressive tennis with hard forehand shots, which look spectacular when hit right but start losing way during the course of the game. He should probably try to grind his way a bit but then again, Nadal and Djokovic can run around a lot more than Federer. At this stage of his career, I doubt if Federer can start running around more, that's just not his style of play. The only thing he can control are the unforced errors, which will always remain to some extent given his flashy, although elegant, style of play.

PS: Once the number of unforced errors come down, I still don't see the likes of Nadal and Djokovic match him He's just too classy and once in an era kind of a player

Cllg is seeing some changes post DG and im getting regular updates about it from the champ PG representative from IMI (abhimukh)...I think he has taken the baton very efficiently from avinav.
Apart from all this, at my end, life @infosys is same as it was before MBA

Hope the incoming batch also has some people willing to carry forward this thread. Btw, I don't really see many people from the 1st year students?? Abhimukh n rakade ne dhang se succession planning nahi ki :-P

Coming to my life(after)imi I've completed more than 1.5 years at CBI and am still enjoying my role here, although sometimes it does get monotonous. But still, atleast sarkari jaisi feeling kam hi aati hai, which is a really good thing, else I would have been bored to death The learning so far has been awesome and I just hope ki aage bhi aur sahi cheezen milti rahe yahan which could be put to good use in the future.

Baaki apart from work, I still play TT every day for half an hour In fact, I've divided my work day in two sessions, Pre-TT session and Post-TT session Though my opponents are couple of 50 year olds but they both are quality players, which has ensured that my game has actually improved So Amit, you better be prepared to lose again whenever we meet again :-P

But ya, I do yearn to see a few young faces working with me Although abhi to phir bhi 3 aur young log hai but overall, it's still a feeling of working with oldies Anyway, sab cheezon ke pros and cons hote hai :)

That's about it from my end so far. Hope to visit IMI some day and probably play TT there

GPE by RRC is still there interesting paper, very insigithful...one of the papers where i actually ended up with an A+ and saw some of the best presentations of the class
