Consider US universities only ( it is basically a FREE ride if you can make the cut). GMAT 700+ is required. Plus you need to know what type of finance specialization/research you are interested in, there is too much competition even for Ph.D. Especially now!!!

      Hello,

I currently hold B.Com, BSBA (Finance) ( USA) and MBA ( Finance) from Top 50 B-School from USA as per Business Week with 6 years of experience in Telecom and Private Equity. I've recently graduated with an MBA and needless to say that market in US is very soft and getting the "right" kind of job is almost impossible. Obviously not having an Ivy league stamp does hurt, which I gave up due to lack of funds, oh well I had a nice scholarship to get my MBA from the school I eventually graduated from.

I've stellar academic records and work experience. So, recently, I decided that I should apply for another Masters with focus in finance. I have got a free ride to Manchester MSc Finance program but its 1 year of life.

I've got few questions on MSc Finance in UK:

      1. What universities qualifies for the higher education in UK for job and visa purposes?
      2. MSc Finance program at Manchester B-School any good in terms of brand equity?
      3. Any personal experience with the program and school itself?
      4. What other schools should I apply, I think I am late for most fall admits for 2009?

      Please suggest.

      Cheers!
