Have any decisions been released on the waitlisted candidates from R1 ?
Also, are these decisions made along with the regular admits or does it happen after/before this process?

I used the MBA Crystal Ball report and I found it really informative. It gives a pretty holistic view of the profile and gives a decently accurate chances of your making it to a school in terms of ambitious, practical, reach etc. (pretty long list of schools). I think it even gives the positives and roadblocks arising from your profile towards the end.

As for the Customized Immersion, even i faced the same response from CJ during the interview. He was a bit dismissive of the customized immersion as he felt just a customized immersion makes one hanging a bit with no real value add. He backed it up with his story. Anyways, what are you doing on the Cornell front now?

Undergrad (Electronics engineering) : 70% from a reputed private engg college.
12th : 91%
10th : 89%

Work ex: 4 years by the time i join.

Since Jan 2009: Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers
- worked in India and Ethiopia (africa) with the national governments on strategy projects

4 months in UNDP (United Nations Development Program) as a Research associate

1 year as an R&D; engineer with Nokia-Siemens Networks and 1 Year in Infosys as a Test Engineer

Extracurricular activities: Youth Leader with UNICEF for over 5 years
Badminton Captain for college badminton team (participated in various zonal and national level university tournaments)

I guess i might miss the R1 deadline as i am still halfway through my essays.
