Because in NIFT there is a lot of waitlist movement....
Many ppl would leave and opt for MBA as well....

I completed my Bachelors in Fashion Technology in 2009 and currently pursuing MBA...

Delhi and bangalore r d top two centres.....
After that comes Mumbai and Chennai...
Hydrabad and Gandhinagar comes after that....

Could you tell us whether Vogue would help or not?Which magazines would tell us about latest machines;I am asking this because I have never had a look for such magazines before.

See the magazines such as VOGUE or COSMOPOLITON are all Fashion magazines and u are applying for M F Tech which is a technical course and u would be dealing with technical aspects of the garment Industry..Its hard to get those sorts of magazines so i would suggest to search on Google and prepare ur notes accordingly..Just have a look at the machines used in garment industry, See how much time is required to stitch a shirt, What are the quality parameters, What all things are considered before accepting the order, What is lead time, what is throughput time, How are containers sent, loaded..

U can have a look at Stitch Times or any of the apparel magazines talking about productivity, efficiency or the latest machines used in Garment Manufacturing..I think that would suffice..But most important question u should prepare is why u want to join NIFT??

I would say u ppl also focus on real time situations on case studies such as solving some sort of a problem in garment industry, how to minimize the time wastage, how to increase efficiency and productivity....

Those who attended counseling please tell us something about the wait list movement??

i have not beeen shortlisted for the first waiting list .. so any idea as to when the second waiting list shall come up......
help required..

Those who got selected in the first waiting list have been given time till 11th April to deposit their fee...
So we can(Possibly) expect second waiting list around 12th or 13th of April..
