Dude, check the thread and community once again. The description subject has been changed and as most of the people have already joined in both the groups and some discussions are already going on I think starting with a new thread doesn't make sense.

As Shreye has already mentioned that last year the waiting list went upto third list i.e. there was another wait list after the first waiting list got clear. As far as movement in the wait list is concerned it depends upon the number of candidates who are there in the first list and are not joining and no1 can really comment on that. So for all out there who are in the wait list, keep your fingers crossed and wait for another 2-3 weeks.

The placement report comes somewhere in mid April. So be patient and don't worry as the placements this time were fair enough at GIM. Please don't post further querries on placements as the report would be out soon and all your querries would be resolved by that:)

A quick update:

An OFFICIAL orkut commmunity and google groups link will be provided by the seniors by today evening....:)
So just to avoid confusion lets not create another one till then (as i had just did and deleted afterwards ;))

Reiterating it again...the community for the batch of 2010-2012 is already there and find it's link in my signature below...there is also a thread running on FB and the link for the same is also there in my signature.

Why do we need to come there to get the loan??????? Andhra Bank has a MOU with GIM and hence loan can be availed from any branch of Andhra Bank from any city.Seniors please rectify if wrong!!

Though I didn't avail the loan but as far as I know you can get it from any branch of Andhra Bank anywhere across India. All you need is an official performa from the college for which you can ask the admissions office by calling them. Hope this helps.

You should wear it as it is a part of the formal dress up but if you don't have one then no need to worry...njoi:D

Dude it is very subjective and is upto you if you want to wear it or not...You can also wear a t-shirt n a pair of jeans for the interview
