I want to know the details of the fee structure of DMS and an estimate of total expenses (two years) on course fees, hostel fees, books etc as I have to apply for an Education Loan .. Also, as I'll have to deposit some form of proof for it, can u tell me where to find the fee structure of DMS ? Thanx ...

The new look DMS website has is awesome .. but a quick thought - It states DLT course has 10 seats .. didn't it had 15 seats ?? Maybe a slight error on the website ...

There is a thing that I noticed is present in every post now and then .. Its about the "UPGRADATION" from DLT to DLM ... Seniors have clarified more than enough that both DLT and DLM are almost similar courses except the focus area being different .... Guys from both courses even end up with same summer internship and placements ... Then why keep using the word "upgradation" ?? Is there some hidden meaning to this ?? No offence meant towards anyboby but just that this makes the ppl admitted to DLT a little apprehensive ..

can u pls give a brief idea about the various sectors (like Banking & Finance, Consultancy, Marketing etc) where the DLT seniors got recruited apart from telecom and IT companies and how many of them opted for such sectors and profiles ?? thanx in advance !!

Ahaa .................. Finally my seemingly never-ending wait to get into my dream institute has ended .. Received a call from DMS office and rest as they say is history .. Now I can finally use this emoticon aplenty ....



I want to thank all the AdCom members for helping all of us thru the process right from the start of sale of JMET forms till this date .. I wish to carry forward this work when I join ... Some more food for thought for seniors though :

1. I have an inclination towards pursuing Finance as my specialization in MBA .. as I've been offered admission in DLT, wil I be able to pursue Finance ?? And if at all I pursue Finance, will the companies be equally willing to offer me internships and jobs with as impressive profiles as offered to DLM-Finance students ???

2. I need to know the procedure to obtain study loan for DMS ... Maybe some batchmates can help me with this who might have made a visit or 2 to a bank ...

And someone pls give the link to join the Orkut community and Google Group (if any) ... Can hardly wait to rock the IIT-D campus with all you guys ....

Does anyone has any idea whether more ppl in the waitlist after #39 have been called up or not .. !! pls inform if anyone got any new info regarding waitlist movement or even if u know someone withdrawing from DMS now .....

sorry for spamming..but the activity on orkut thread is quite dull these days with only 35 members out of the possible 75 odd strength having subscribed to the community...

Hey, thats actually a good news for waitlisted ppl like me (am at #43) bcoz maybe some of the ppl who haven't joined community on Orkut are not completely sure of joining DMS ... ( being waitlisted for so long is killing me .. so trying to catch positives from everywhere ) ...
