All we need to do now is collect ourselves at DTE, Mumbai on 20.06.12 at 11.30 AM with our GD & PI Call Letter's and move towards the Director's office and tell him about this problem.

If he has solved the ARC Verification Issue and the Domicile Issue owing to sheer number's, then we should not fall behind. The Director will listen to our problems if we show up in a huge number. The logic applied here is - 1 or 2 candidates may exaggerate about their GD and PI experiences but when 15 to 20 candidates show up all together, the situation changes drastically.

Half the battle is already won. It has already come to his attention that there are a lot of candidates from the SAME college, facing the SAME problem. If we show up in a good number tomorrow, all this will stand justified.

The other day, a guy on this same forum wrote that he sat like a deaf-dumb through his GD and PI, still managed to get an above average score, also I know of a few guys (outside PG forum) who wont even utter a word in a GD, and have managed to score between 10 and 12 last year..
and then there are guys on this forum who thought they have done well last year, but managed to score not even a 9 or a 8 just because they were at a KJSom or a JB.

I'm not saying, they should shower marks on us for nothing..
But given the fact that its a competitive exam and what really matters is the relative score, should they not have some sort of calibration in place..

Why should our chances for a good college & scores suffer, just because we got our centre as KJSom or a JB or a PUMBA ?

My GD was good, above average..
but PI was pathetic to say the least.
And Why so ? Coz of An unconventional-hurried-through Interview
There were no Tell me something about yourself type questions, no profile sheet related questions, No interest in score/percentile.. No Current Affairs..

Yes, I am frustrated.. And all this is coming out of frustration..
Someone who has spent last couple of months doing nothing except preparing for that 15 minutes interview, has all the rights to be.

When I share MY GDPI experience with someone, the first opinion is that I will get a total of around 20-23 for an excellent GD and a not so good PI..
but the moment, you inform them that the centre was KJSom.. All hell breaks loose..
As if I asked for KJSOM as my centre.

Can we not expect some sort of calibration ?
Calibration not only in terms of marks allotment for a particular level of performance but also calibration in terms of the range of topics they should cover in a PI.. e.g. Acads, Current Affairs, etc.
It (read your marks & career) cant be left on the mood of the PI panel.
Im expecting, there will be some puys who would not agree to this opinion and that would be probably because they aren't at the receiving end.

Again, just to reiterate, Im not asking for an easy interview or asking them to shower marks.. Expectation is simple, some sort of calibration amongst various GDPI centres across the state? Too much to ask for ? Eh ?
Is this some sort of Matka or lottery centre ??

There's something about GDPI in KJ that we don't know!!

My PI lasted for 25 mins and questions were factual in nature..Except for 2 of the questions, i was able to answer all of them correctly.But still i got 9/17

There is something really fishy about KJ.
Almost all students with KJ as their gdpi center have scored abysmal marks. Can't we take up this matter with the dte ? There must be some sort of standardization across all the centers.

I totally agree... I scored pi -9...da point being ..there should be some amount of normalization between centres...and dey can do so statistically but for obvious reasons..dte avoids labour...I hope something is done regarding such discrepancies...else ensure no centre gets tooo high scores..

I had KJ as my centre. I was one of the few in my batch who actually spoke during the GD and the rest were made to speak but yet I just managed to score 10/17 and apart from 2 things I could answer all the questions thrown at me during the PI and scored only 8/17. I was not expecting 17/17 or for that matter even 15 but I do think 12-14/17 was something I deserved. But there is no point now, guess the guys at KJ know better.

Any ways using knoqx I am getting lala and zagdu colleges which I will definitely not take up. I guess this year is wasted then and I should look else where as the dreams of PUmba are shattered!

I still can't believe how I got just 8/17 in my GD. After speaking confidently, making valid points which were agreed by all, allowing others to speak and what did I get just 8/17 from the moderators of KJ:shock:. I may not be excellent to get 15+/17 but was atleast expecting 13-14/17 if not minimum 12 but .

My score is 98/200 and along with 4 PAR marks, I was expecting to score around 124-126/240 but ended up getting 120/240:-(:banghead:

And using knoqx am getting colleges like lala and zagdu. Puyz could you throw some light on these colleges - worth it or :nono:

I still can't believe how I got just 8/17 in my GD. After speaking confidently, making valid points which were agreed by all, allowing others to speak and what did I get just 8/17 from the moderators of KJ:shock:. I may not be excellent to get 15+/17 but was atleast expecting 13-14/17 if not minimum 12 but .

My score is 98/200 and along with 4 PAR marks, I was expecting to score around 124-126/240 but ended up getting 120/240:-(:banghead:

And using knoqx am getting colleges like lala and zagdu. Puyz could you throw some light on these colleges - worth it or :nono:

dude after my gd, the moderator came out and said that "BETA YOU HAVE LEADERSHIP QUALITIES", I was also expecting around 13 or 14 But the score I got was a 10, a freaking '10' . KJ people are shit!!!

Think about it.

All aspects duly considered, this one (about corruption in the United States Government) remains the best film I have seen in my life.

It gives me goose bumps to even think about some of its scenes..

And on a lighter note, this one I want to see.
