An info for the waitlisted guys-out of 92 seats,74 seats were filled up as on 2nd july.The rest of the seats are vacant.Cant tell the no of gen and category seats as the authorities werent ready to divulge details.All the best to the rest of the guys!!!

well, seniors/guys, if a seat remains vacant from reserved category, can it be given to given to a guy from general category?

sorry dude but reserved category seats cannot be filled with general category students even if they go vacant.Its government rules buddy....nothing could be done about it...:-(

I have applied for the withdrawal of admission and fee refund....

IMNU replied that the refund process will start from 23rd June 2012....

yes dude I have got the same message...strange that the time frame for giving deposit is so less whereas refund takes such a long time...

out of curiosity asking as you said "future batchmates" ,are you going to join nit-dgp if selected? ( u're also 4m durgapur itself so you've better idea abt it) & didn't panelists asked you abt other cllges you applied?

Well to answer your query,as far as I have gathered info abt nit dgp is that the faculty here is good and the amount of knowledge you gain here is phenomenal....what the insti lacks is placement.The placement is very erratic and non dependable....But the environment is nice,friendly and the profs strict but helpful..
about my interview,I rather pm u in details...
Dont worry about the mistakes made,they check u for your personality,not completely on academics...:-)
