i think i shud share my exp wid u...i was also vry tense on 8th n 9th as i had not received any mail from SPJ inspite of a fantastic profile (even dean had given me the compliment on the same:) )
i had not received any mail and when i chkd the SPJ site it ws showing error on 8th Apr.But whn i chkd it on 9th Apr nite it showed tat offer has been made (bt still no mail ).so my advice is to pls keep on chking the SPJ site.
then i contacted SPJ thru email (on which they didnt respond) and on phone as well.then only they sent me the mail.the letter was dated 8th Apr.

Last nite i got an email for scholarship as well....25% fees waiver Who else has got the schol and how much?
so i m in for SMM with schol... :)...bt still nt vry sure whether im joinin or nt...as i mite defer the admission for nxt intake...dunno scholl will b applicable den or nt...although im sendin the $2500 draft to SPJ...wanna giv ISB one more try as i ws waitlisted this yr...lets c hw things turn up n wat i decide...
so tats my story...hope 4 the best...

Nice to hear from u again...U have been of tremendous help to this forum and I really appreciate it..I had my evaluation on 7th april.. Had a good GD, wonderful PI. Essays and case study also went very well...But i have not recieved any confirmation regarding offer, waitlist or reject..also ppl who were evaluated after me got offers...I have applied for IT Management..Have 30 months work ex with a top IT company and 95.5% CAT score..what say..bout my chances.do they give offers in a staggered form..Need ur help on this...

Buddy i dont wana give you any false hopes at this stage, the best i can suggest is to call up the adcom. C the situation is like this , last date to pay the fee is 15th Apr for ppl who have got the offer earlier , for some its 20Apr . There are many who wana defer to next intake for various different reasons,So i believe if that happens waitlisted guys can find there way in. Unfortunatly we dont have anything like a Waitlisted no to get the exact picture for ppl in a waitlist, but my calculation says that , few more calls will be rolled out for sure.
Again this is my personal point of view..!!!

And vishal u profile is good enough but ur exp is less than the current avg, which is around 40 months.

Happy to inform that I have recvd the final offer for IT mgmt.Was waitlisted post evaluation.Have to pay the acceptence fee of 2500USD by 4th april.will be doing that.

If i want to defer my admission to the next intake cause am waiting for some other results to be declared,when is the ideal time to inform them and how do I do that?Do I need to inform them written or sending an email will do .

U can send the mail now itself. No issues with that. Infact its advisible to let them know abt ur deferal now as others in waitlisting can move forward.
