hello sir, i am saurabh from delhi and preparing for SNAP. My father is a defence personal also and i have a work ex of 28 months in IT industry as R&D; Software Engg. So i just want to know that how much shd i score in snap to get a call from SIMS. plz tell me if any specific preparation is required for SNAP exam, I am very much keen to get admission in these colloges of symbi.
Plz someone from SIMS reply me, i want to know tht how much weitage will be given to my profile and how much shd i score to be on safer side???

Hey saurabh...i am currently at sims in d 1st yr..Last yr d cut-off was around 65. The year before dat it was around 45. The difference is mainly because of the level of toughness of snap each year. So you can yourself judge what is it gonna b dis yr!!!...I thought anyone who had a score of more than 80 had a better chance of converting d call in my batch..but having said dat,it also depends on your performance in the interview and gd. Regarding any specific preparation fr snap,b regular in reading et and toi. You can score high in gk section. At SIMS or rather ane college,profiles are looked into fr final selection.

Hey Arvind..i hd appeared fr snap 2009 n i m at sims. Last yr d cut offs were:

1. SCMHRD : 114(for blanket calls)
2. SIBM : 124
3. SIIB : around 100(mostly profile based)
4. SIBM, Bangalore: 99
5. SIMS : 65
6. SITM : 92 fr mark n fin & 78 fr systems

I like the career prospects and the kind of work we are offered by the organizations. I have no work experience and hence my comments are basicaaly based on the guest lectures and the interaction with the faculty

I have done law in my graduation but I have not studied labour laws. How much shall a diploma in labour laws help me? Also, will the graduation in law help my cause?
