I would say that if u have the opportunity to go onsite then u shouldn't miss that one...CAT is not the end of the world and this type of oppurtunity may not stike twice.In this present situation u r given a wonderfull chance, you could still try for the exams next year with a lot of confidence.
Still I feel it all depends on what u want......MBA and an onsite chance are two differnet seens.One will add value to ur CV and other will improve ur future career growth.

Sorry 4 repeating this question but I am still confused regarding the colleges one should go for even after reading so many posts.I haven't done gud in the MOCK CATS according to my expectations and my %iles have been stuck in the range of 70-80, occasionally crossing the 85 barrier.:|
I knw this shouldn't be taken into consideration as the performance on the D-day matters bt still am a bit apprehensive abt wat colleges to opt for due to their varying %iles(for the calls).
Please once again advise to which college to opt for if I try to make my percentiles jump above the 80 mark(taking into consideration the worst too) to what ever level I can take ot tooo.
Now only 1 week iss left 4 applying to some gud colleges.Ur inputs are welcomed
ATB for the big day.

PS: I have got a 2 yr wrk ex in the IT industry and looking to MBA in either Finance(like ever1 else) or in enterpreneurship.

Is it different from Christ College near Forum Mall(hosur road)???
I have searched on the net but found both 2 be same, still needed to clarify this doubt......please help

Got my admit card from IIMB today afternoon.
The test center is hardly 15 mins 4m my house:clap:.
Really glad of tat, otherwise the distances in Bangalore are a big worry.

i havent recieved any confirmations from iit kanpur yet are they still busy in scanning d applications or they have rejected mine ???

bro...there are lot of people who have the same problem as u have. Have patience if the form was delievered to IIT and it had to errors then it will surely be accepted and confirmation letter sent through the mail to ur inbox.

Hi all,
Please give me suggestion :

I have sent my CAT application for on 11th of August , according to speed post tracker system , it was delivered on 14th of August at IIM B.
I checked my CAF status 100 times but no luck. Even I called IVR number of IIM B , same response , Form yet not received.

I am really in dilemma , whether I will be able to sit for the exam or not.

1. I have photo copy of the original form.
2. Speed post document ( through internet)

Please any body suggest me what should I do now.

You sure have a problem in hand dude.But there is no use in calling the IIMB people on the phone. They have a standard reply(we can't help you:huh:) to all the problems of the aspirants.
The only solution that I can think of is : Send a mail to IIMB people specifying ur problem along with the scanned copy of the Bank's 2nd slip and the reciept of the Speed/Registered post through which you sent the form. If possible you can visit the IIMB campus but I don't think they will let you enter the campus...only an insider can help you in this regard.

Hey my form sent on 2nd september 2008 is showing not recieved by IIM-A.I checked the speed post site.It said reached Ahmedabad on 3rd Sept.My friends who sent their forms on the same day show recieved.Also the site was updated 2 days back.I know that because 2 days back only my friends who sent their form with me were showing recieved. So technically it should show that my form also has been recieved!!!!Can I do anything about it.Anybody??please

Dude if u see in the old posts, almost every1 faced this problem.
The only solution is patience........its just 10 days for u, there are people on this thread whose form didn't get recieved till date.
Try calling the IIM IVRS system where u sent the from or drop a mail and tell them abt ur problem.
If ur frnds form are recieved then surely urs would be too.Have faith and concentrate on ur studies.
