But this is the fees which is making me go dizzy. i know this is my best convert so far, but still i havent been able to fathom what to do! please help ! also please let me know the education loan offers ! hoping to hear some encouraging words!

high fees-plz dnt worry....in the end,its the quality that matters....n u will earn nice most probably,so wnt face any difficulty in payin back the loan..mba is expensiv,but its worth it....
abt loan--canara bank has a tie up with IMI,read a few pages back.....rest,i think PSU banks are the best-try SBI or SYNDICATE,if u cant get thru canara bank
i dnt think u shud go for HDFC or any other private bank for that matter-coz they hav high rate of interest,plus,the interest is alwayz calculated on the principle amount,whereas the PSU banks calculate it on the diminishing amount.......
for more info on canara bank,jst go a few pages bank--the rate of interest is lesser for IMI students

if anyone has registerd for the foundation course,plz let me know the mode of payment-is it cash/DD/cheque,and in favour of whom.imi is closd till 7th,so noone's picking up the phone

i know accounts is a must....and i wanted to learn excel,but i need the practical knowledge as i havnt used excel ever...so plz tell me shud i go for any private course like at aptech etc,or for the foundation course????

This happens to be my first post:grin:, and sure has some info for many of u !!!

I was waitlisted for IMT ghaziabad at 97% and have now been offered a seat at Nagpur in PGDM:shocked:. Since there was so much confusion around the admission process, thought would take d "pains" (read GUTS ) to go straight to Dr Sherry 2day. He asked for my CAT Score Card (obviously i am not telling u my poor DI score !! :P) and shook his head ( in disbelief?? )
He said since i have poor score in DI, i have not been considered for Ghaziabad:nono:. And also that there already are 4500 people waiting for IMT ghaziabad (saar's exaggerating???? )

when asked, he said (politely though) that there's NO possibility of being upgraded to Ghaziabad !!!

So what i can deduce is, for all the people who have faced the same fate, u probably have an unsatisfactory percentile in one of the sections...

Through this information i in no way aim to hurt or make anyone feel sad.. i apologize if i have unintentionally done so...:|

its very much true....i hav each sectinal above 90,and i guess this is the only reason m still waitlisted....imt isnt being fair by doin such things...once wailisted for gaz,ppl shud not be given nagpur
and i seriously feel the process isnt clear and transparent at all

doesnt matter,my 1st rejection,and its completely their fault,coz my process was excellent
so all those who didnt mak it,dnt loose heart.....

it hardly matters if one has 2 opt out of asia pacific and niilm-cms. But still if u ask, i would opt for asia-pacific coz of its decent standard of students, good infra way better than niilm-cms but eveythg has its pros and cons as well. Asipac has very low roi.

But u need 2 compromise on stg when u r running out of options, so thats the situation in which ur friend is in.

if the last sate is 30th april,how will they knw by 25th wether to giv us a seat or not??????
and we were told once u get nagpur,,u are out of gaz race....so how come the ppl who were waitlisted for gaz have been given nagpur,though there were ppl who had been waitlisted for nagpur also????????

total exp in kj including tution fee+hostel = 4 lacs for 2 years. add 50 k for mess so its 4.5 for 2 years. buy ur own lappy.. so 5 lacs in total for 2 years.
avrag for this batch has been 6-6.5
