Plz tell us the breakup of cat%ile weightage, gdpi weightage etc. by confirming with the admissions office.
Actually I'm 98.51%iler with 715 rank and after I analyze my gdpi, I think it was one of my best PIs ever. So I really can't figure out what went wrong.
The exact weightage would help me analyze my performance better.

I'm interested in Marketing only and would not join in case I've been allocated Finance/HR/Operations

I just received an email regarding my kolkata waitlist. I had got the letter by post and had sent the dd as well. but the email subject says 'kolkata wailist reminder'! does that mean my dd has not reached IIFT? has ne1 else received such email. Actually I'm worried coz I sent the dd on address of iift not to admissions office iift. but I enclosed a letter to admissions office.
can sth be done now seniors n aspirants plz reply!

@IIM Indore seniors,pz address my queries:-

1. Going by last years' thread, I saw that a 2nd round of i/w were held after final results were declared?? If 1st round is done with and there are selected/buffered/waitlisted ppl then whats the pt of holding a 2nd gdpi round??

2. Again in last yr thread I could not get info abt the wailist movement that happened in 2010-2012 batch. I only see a post by wl1(gen) that he got selected. Can anyone throw some light on how much the actual w/l movement was. I again don't get the logic that for IIM A,B,C etc the w/l moves atleast by 14-15 but at IIM I it moves in single digits. Are there so less overlaps?
Plz atleast provide a rough idea of last yrs w/l movement

3. when did last yrs session for pgp 2010-2012 start?

I know seniors would be tired of our queries by now, but I just can't get the answer of above 2 questions anywhere.

hi am waitlisted for IIFT Kol campus....i am keen on joining the delhi campus though i dont find anything wrong with Kol campus...It has been informed that Rs.10000/- draft to be submitted for Kol campus...

Now my questions are

when would there be clarity of my chances for delhi campus if at all i am up in Kol list of students??

what was the last waitlist no of the person who got into delhi from the kol waitlist?

would i get back the 10000/- if i dont get into Delhi campus but only Kol campus??

1. till mid-june u wud know whether u can get delhi or not
2. last w/l(as far as I know) was 33-34 who got delhi from Kolkata w/l
3. U won't get the money back if u get Kolkata campus.

IIMB results are to be out on 18th and all other IIMs by end of this month. I wish all the 236 IIFTD converts and 80 IIFTKol converts get their IIM calls converted so that even the kolkata waitlist ppl hv transfers for Delhi
So my best wishes for all IIFT converts who have IIM or XLRI calls

can the seniors tell how many ppl are kept in 1st waitlist(acc. to last yr statistics) and till how many of the 1st wl last yr were able to get Delhi?

@seniors, I had the following queries:-
1.Are the Kolkata and delhi campus selections the same? Are there any companies which takes only Delhi students?
2.Also the highest pkg given by OLAM, did it take some students from Kolkata also?
3. I heard somewhere that now IIFT:-K have moved to their own campus. does the campus have hostels also?
Sorry to bother the seniors with my queries but I this is the only place where I can clarify my doubts.
