@him411 please if you want to complain about a particular college this is not a place for it and You may have opinions against the college but this is no way to express it and tell those who have opted for IGSM.

there is no point in Arguing this is a thread dedicated to IILM GSM 2010-12 batch and if you are part of the batch or want to be and have useful info you can share rather than spamming the whole thread with GSM vs Gurgoan Debate. At the end of the day both colleges are are IILM remember that and if you think that Gurgoan is better then good thing.

p.s Please try refraining yourself from just arguing rather spend time on researching which one is better Gurgoan or GSM if you want to that is, though i think it is too late now.

hmm Ayush decided not take up admission anyway there are some guys coming from outside like nath i don't even know if they know the problems coming up with the college hostel. Any way even i have got some 2nd thoughts of joining or not,not just because of hostel but other reasons any way till now will meet up on 7th. But i think the college should start the session a bit late since there is utter chaos at the moment.

well i contacted with the many people and directly to the contractor of UNITECH HORIZON.......
well you will be surprised to know that our hostel has not yet been decided.. the contractor Mr. pawan has told me that today is the official meeting and we will get to know which one is our hostel.....
the fight is b/w two hostel G.N HOSTEL and UNITECH HORIZON....
i have visited both d hostels.........
G.N is the worst hostel and UNITECH is the best accordingly to me......if the new hostel will be UNITECH then only i am going to take the clg hostel otherwise i will go for S.S.......
We are hoping for the best and even the contractor said me that 80% chances is for UNITECH HORIZON...
P.S- If you are paying 15000 bucks more than s.s in unitech then believe me it deserves...bot not in d case of G.N!

yeah ankur,amit,nishant,varun it was gr8 to see you couldn't catch up much with varun and nishant had to rush.

Only one word "Chaos" regarding hostel. Though i went just to accompany ankur and to get to know some batchmates before hand but really no communication at all in the management.

They first took me,ankur and amit to Unitech Horizon it was very good believe me the rooms were good but no furniture and fittings were done and they were telling it will be done in 2days time god knows if they are employing human beings or mummies to work on the flats.

Any way we saw the Gym had the equipment and all,pool was also there.

The Unitech horizon is like 7 Kms from the college. So if you get the Unitech Horizon then go for it guys it is better i can tell but i haven't seen the other hostel which amit,ankur,nishant and varun went to see so will not comment on it.


Overall that was a Monday. Any way Good thing ankur You talked to Mr Pawan Bhaiya whose name the guy was going gaga over and over again

Guys don't get confused if you are not sure then go for the hostel which the college has tie-up with you don't want to have a headache for a year. And Don't worry i asked a senior he told Though college says last date of Hostel submission is earlier but people can take up hostel even after.

@richa Just stick to one hostel that the College has suggested if you are confused yourself think of your parents who will more confused and worried.

p.s Got a mail today from GSM bridge course from 7th classes beginning from 14th and 12th is orientation.

back from a small vacation no test it is just a way to introduce mainly guys from Science background to the basic Commerce jargon.Nothing else even if there is a test just write it they will not fail you

Amit We have decided on meeting on 5th June in college itself. @ankit sorry yaar totally locked up with some work so can't meet you on 16th Will meet you after 24th may my last exam

my advice is go for SS if they giving same facilities if you can just go to the hostel ask the Seniors who are living there like how the hostel is etc. If they say good then opt for it in the end it will save you maybe 20k.why pay more when you get the same thing at lower price
