Yes, but the number of techniques shown in his online course is very limited.. he shows many more in class

The video classes are as good as his original lectures. There's absolutely no difference. I've attended both - video and also the original one. We had video lectures for 2 weeks when he was ill. Found no difference at all in the content and experience. Considering the low fees, definitely worth it.

Wow !!! I mean just wow !!! Have not seen anyone contribute so much expert opinion in the very first post at PG !! :wow:

Did you really go to Byju or these are just your subjective opinions based on heresy ? Even I have been to Byju's classes and most of the points made here make no sense. Please understand that many aspirants make their choices just based on what we seniors out here suggest them.

Byju classe not worth joining thats my experience cos of these reasons:
1. Not consistent with his topics like he will teach GEO 3 first then come to GEO 1 and DI 13 then after x no of class come to DI intro.

This happens only when one joins in between an existing batch, and has to attend the previous lectures later on, with the new batch. And before he starts geometry 2/3/4, he gives all the necessary background for ppl who have not attended Geo 1, and most people find no issues. Reschedule classes of Geo 1 or previous sessions are always embedded in between regular classes.

2.Will keep having rescheduling of classes again and again all of this cos he keeps adding batches.And wont cover topics fast.

Keeps adding batches ?? He has only three batches in Bangalore. Morning batch - Sunday(9am - 1pm) starts in Dec/Jan, Afternoon batch - Sunday(2pm - 6pm) will start in April/May, Workshop/crash course batch - Saturday(2pm - 6pm) starts around Aug/Sept. So if a person joins in Feb/Mar, he joins in the morning batch. As a result he has to attend the previous lectures as reschedule, which happens in the afternoon. He covers topics at absolutely the right pace.. some even criticize that he's a bit too fast. First time heard someone say he's slow !!

3.Suppose after the class in break u have doubt then there will be some two guys two clear ur doubt and these two are for say 800 people to clear ur doubts.

I have never seen more than 4-5 ppl have doubts on any day. No one has doubts if one has paid attention. Moreover, one has the option to re-attend any session with the later batch or as reschedules.

4.No study material provided and if u are not good at basics then u are left wondering whats happening.

Does one really need it when all the learning gets over at class ? I wonder how many aspirants really manage to complete all that TIME/IMS gives or finds the time to do it. He starts everything from scratch, and one gets to attend any of his lectures at least 3-4 times, including reschedules. Even after that, I don't think anyone is still there with doubts. He reduces a lot of effort by completing everything in class.

5.I know people who had 93and 94 percitile in 2009 they joined byju in 2010 to make it to 99 level but no use they got same range of early 90odd.The main reason being CAT 2009 onwards format has changed more concentration on ur basic not those high funda stuff like previous year before 2009 but byju keep 2001 to 2008 as his standard level and keeps going at some high funda stuff which is not needed for CAT.

Oh !! Has Byju put any disclaimer that whatever he touches will turn to gold ? Everyone with 93-94 percentile in CAT 2009 should have got 99+ after joining Byju ? Getting a 99 these days is not just coaching - there are a host of other factors and above all luck. Can you suggest any coaching where people with 93-94 should join and their percentiles would become 99 !! I guess many here would be eager to join such a center.

So guys pl do not go by his free classes where he will keep claiming big things even consier the batch size before u join.

Whatever he claims are proven facts, and batch size is an apprehension which many have before joining him. But once they attend the demo lecture, all apprehensions are put to rest. Guys, just drop in anytime on a Sunday morning, and attend one of his classes as a demo, free of cost. All those 800-1000 who attend his classes sometimes even from the balcony of Jyoti Niwas auditorium during repeat sessions, do it for a reason. At least go once and try to figure that out. Then take your call. TIME and IMS will have batches starting every week till Aug/Sept, so it is never too late to join them, if you still feel so.

Try out a demo class at Byju's at St. Xavier's college. See if it suits you, otherwise go for TIME.

HII thanx for replying...but my doubt is apart from the medical tests...it is mentioned in the offer letter for the vaccinations for hepatatis a,b, typhoid,chicken pox...am i supposed to take all thes vacc. ..in infosys mail it is given that they are advising for it (vaccinations for the hepatatis a,b typhoid ,chiicken pox etc..)but at the same time they require the proof of the same to be submitted at the time of joining?


in some posts i have read that they didn't check whether u take all these vaccinations or not..
i want to confirm is this true... or am i supposed to take all these vaccinations?

They are not going to check for vaccinations. To be on the safer side, get it written by your family physician or some doctor, that you have taken all 'necessary' vaccinations and you're fit to join the training program. No need to specify explicitly.

there is a link on the website to apply for Joint admission test of MFC and MBE....are they going to scrap test scores or they are going to consider both pls enlighten guys...

The form shows the session as 2010-12. I guess it is the last year's one. This year there won't be any exam, as per the information given.

I guess you're talking about Infosys, Mysore and you're still in training. Trainees are treated like school-children, someone blows a whistle even if you're not walking on the footpath. :-P

I am talking about Infosys, Bangalore. Life at Production is much easier.
