completely agree with Sid, rather than giving weightage just for 10th , 12th and graduation marks , overall profile of the student should be taken into consideration, which includes co-curricular, extra-curricular and work experience in relevant field, consider a person who has work-ex in supply chain, and if he wants to do MBA in operations /supply chain, he should be given preference in selection, because he is clear about his intention to do MBA, doing MBA just because not interested in present job or for change in the field, should not be the reason.
