Hi Everyone,
I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this, but i did not get a link where I can post my query. So please pardon me if this post is not appropriate for this thread.
I am an MBA from one of the IITs and working in Advisory practice in one of the Big 4 audit firms. I am interested in doing my second MBA from ISB sometime soon. However, I am not sure if ISB is receptive to 2nd MBA candidates. I want to shift from advisory to Marketing or General Management.
So just wanted to know if ISB would atleast look at my applications and how easy would it be from ISB to change profiles and go from advisory to General Management or Marketing.
What is the average work experience that candidates have in ISB and would me associated with a very big brand (big 4) be of any advantage to me at the time of application process
It would be really helpful if i can get your thoughts on my questions.
Snapshot of my profile-
1. Computer Engineer, MBA from IIT
2. Working in Big 4 for the last 1 year: Not much, but client facing role, taking initiatives at workplace to manage projects better.
3. Internship experience in trading firm, Hedging model development
4. Extra Curricular: Placement Committee at IIT, Editor of college magazine, Practice Development Activities at workplace, First prize in Case study competition at Engineering college, Head of students club at Engineering college, part time coach/mentor for students and helping them take informed decisions on careers after 12th and Btech.
5. Small Internet Start-up: Still working on that. Currently in promotion stage.
Feel free to give your feedback on my candidature and profile as well.
Thanks a lot
