Hi Abhishek, Can you please confirm whether you had submitted your CAT/GMAT score at the time of interview. Just want to understand whether GMAT score is must for SPOT offers.

I had received eval cal for SMM from admission team for the slot of 31st jan but now when I am trying to book the slot, it says 'the Slots are full and contact admission dept'... Please suggest wat is to be done and whether i can postpone for the 21st feb eval???

SCMHRD Gdpi experience...

Hi all,

Had my GD-PI yesterday at 1:30 PM slot and I donno what the result is going to be but it was real fun...

Cool introduction session after which we were divided into 3 groups and taken to GD room. Two panelist..one looked like a an ex army person...

Topic: Retails industry is growing, was given few of the challenges and few of the remedial steps...

We were expected to come up with the three most imp steps to overcome the challenges given...

It went fine and in the beginning our group was going off topic but then once moderator interrupted and informed of the requirement once again... After that it went fine..everybody had enough time to put forward his(only guys in our group!!!) points.

Then again we had some chilled out session while waiting for PI call...

I've 2.5 yrs of exp in SAP and i guess SCMHRD was prepared for it... so on panel had a 40+ guy with vast tech exp in SAP. He grilled me for around 20 min on tech stuff of SAP and i was very happy as it was relevant to what i do everyday..though he was looking for answers in functional aspect rather than tech... So was taking time to understand his exact requirement. But went cool...

Then the other lady started asking question:
Why MBA...
What is my dream company that I wud like to join immediately after two yrs of SCMHRD... Then what if I dont get that company. I am looking to do marketing but for a tech company so they asked what if I only get a FMCG company and wud be required to market soaps.
Next she asked how would I cope up with college life and studying esoteric subjects instead of having a lavish IT life.
Then she asked what else to I do apart from IT(tech)...I write songs and have taken part in rock concerts so informed them about that... and seeing this opportunity the techie guy jumped and asked me to write something on SCMHRD on the spot...

I was dead but wrote pretty cool lines and they like it big time.. so all I can say if I do get thru it wud be because of those four lines and if I dont then its my BE acads (Pune University) which are my darkest sins which keep on visiting me at crucial moments.

Anyways guys it was fun and would definitely like to join such a cool college with such g8 students... And I would like to say special thanks to Meera the 1st yr student who was my PI coordinator and she was amazing..she helped me lose my nervousness and made me very comfortable before PI... Thanks alot mam...
