Can anybody tell me if its worth taking an NCFM certification?

I've decent academics and a work-ex of 18 months in IT industry.
However, I've not taken any test so far.
Do you consider applications with a sound profile and no aptitude score (neither CAT/XAT nor SPJAT)..Do people get calls for GD/PI based on just their profile.
I'm interested in the course but I'm reluctant to take any test.
Please reply.

I got an offer for Banking Management for DEC intake

But some of my seniors told me that there might be some placement issues as it is an Odd Batch..
They said that companies generally dont require MBA ppl all round the year as it incurrs a huge overhead in terms of salary ( unlike software engineers)

I would also like to know that would I be considered as a fresher in BM (as I've pursued my engg in IT n I'm working with Infosys, Pune for about 18months). Also, what kind of package can I expect if I perform well?
