Don question this at least.. I am WL32 and i am not joining XL GMP due to reasons of - lack of placement ,profiles after placement etc which i mentioned in my earlier posts..

Please do not misunderstood me guys, i have my own reasons not to join.. you take your own decision..finally its your 1 long year and 14 lakhs , without 1 year salary , family etc...

Have valid questions am ready to answer.. dont mislead other guys in forum by saying m false...

Mr. mba savy, WL-32 is Mr. Alok . You may have your raesons for not attending the same, that's fine, but plz don't respond with fake WL nos at least. Also, for your information, successfully placed students are much more than you have mentioned, and as many of us have suggested 'XLRI is not a placement agency'. If learning is ur key objective (I believe other things will come automatically IF U HAVE CONFIDENCE) XLRI is the place. Most of the people with whom I have discussed were mesmerized by the faculty quality and env.

mbasavy, maybe I am misunderstanding u again, in FB group someone also claims to be having the same WL and decision 'Joining'!!! The world is so funny, if u r WL-32, pls challenge the person who had made the claim...AND HE HAS REAL EXISTENCE!!!!!! hahahahahahohoho, I haven't laughed so much in years dude!!

@Vikram: Could you please let us know the placement scenario as of now, vis-a-vis roles, numbers placed et al.......it shall be very helpful to everyone in deciding whether to join or no........

I think due to some non-disclosure mandate they can not tell anything, but while going through the FB group, I found most of the people are yet to decide (even WL people), can you all please enlighten us also what is the exact reason for your dilemma? Is it placement or something else? This will be a great help for others. I am really confused.

I feel notice period shudnt be a problem.....Ideally so if you work during NP for appx 1 month time and request a waiver/payoff for the remaining period (as some have 2 or 3 mths NP)...Trust me its not difficult to deal this smoothly/ or even legally...

The very assumption is wrong, trust me, people will face N number of difficulties, in my previous organization, it was 3 months notice period and I was selected for SP Jain second list and had exactly one month, they did not allow me to leave even before a single week, I had resigned anyway for another organization as I was very frustrated by the action of a tier-1 org for which I had worked for 4+ years, trust me, buying the notice period was never an issue with me but unfortunately I was not allowed.

there is no point of worry, your WL 4 will surely convert, real concern is for people 20+, as they can not be sure of their luck and thus can not resign and later if it converts due to the notice period they will face problem in joining.

It's a tricky scenario. Ideally, you should have the work-ex certificates of your last organisation. However, if you can't produce it, then probably you won't be able to include this as your work-ex. I guess you have the exp certificate from your other employers. And if your total work-ex is 5+ then it won't be an issue, just that you will not be able to show those 6 months as your work-ex. And 20 is a good WL to convert,don't worry.

Thanks Vikram, Yes, I have all other certificates equv 7 yrs of exp, so it seems even if I can not show last org 6 months ex it should not be a problem.

I have a query, I am working in my last organization for only 6 months and currently WL-20+. I don't think it will reach to me but in case it reaches I will not have time to serve the full duration of the notice period and that will create problem for my release. In that case if I join without proper exp certificate of my last org (except that I have 7 years of exp) will that be an issue as while filling up the form I had also mentioned my last organization too.
