Hey...o ok cool then i suppose you have work experience...I did speak to a few of their alumni...theres a girl called richa singhvi who i spoke to too n she said the course was pretty good n that she doesnt regret doing it...plus shes in the on the job training part now and i believe shes doing well and has already had appraisals etc...where are you applying? about the institute playing bluffs i was wondering abt tht too but then what about the magazine ad n all??

I was just enquiring about the course. No intention of joining it as I am already earning more than what they are offering in placements :).
But I would suggest to get some more knowledge from students of that course. Because these institute people can never be trusted fully. They play bluffs.

we called bimm...they said there was no cutoff per say n everyone would be called for the gdpi process
but if uv taken snap or have minimum one yrs work ex i heard symbiosis which is supposed to be a better college has opened admissions for one of its courses...tie up between sims and standard chartered bank....posy graduate diploma in retail banking and sales...open to all....u get a stipend through the course and gauranteed placement with standard chartered at the level of associate manager at the end of it...i read about it in advance edge too..

yes swapnil..this is what i came to know when i called them...i have applied with a SNAP score of 55...just waiting for the GD/PI call..i reaaly feel it is a good opportunity to grab and many of my friends are also applying

the package for the 1 yr pgd course in retail banking and sales is between 3 to 3.5 lakhs to begin with....you start with a good profile also...associate manager...plus its a relatively inexpensive course.

its a one year full time course but they are NOT providing accomodation or transport in pune. There are lots of PGs around the area though and Pune is mostly a student oriented city so it should be easy enought o arrange for accomodation...

The eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have taken the SNAP test OR, if he/she hasnt, then he/she should have a minimum of ne years work experience.

To apply you need to send a demand draft in for rs 1000 in favour of Director SIMS payable at pune and attach your name, phone number, email address, snap id number and contact details with it. after that they send you a login id and password which u use to download the form. Fill up the form and send it back to SIMS. Last date for receipt of completed application forms is 3rd march 2009

o really? i thought they were only offering marketing and sales profiles...job assurance is definitely important...i hear tat even some of the better b schools havent had 100 percent placements this year...
