Yah last year there was a csae that one guy had a score of 2 in quants but he got the call.

No they don't have sectional cutoff.
I m the second year PGPIB student of SIMSR.
In our batch they have selected a guy with a score of 2 in quants.
As far as cut off percentile it will be likely to have around 89-90 percentile./
