But with that want to share that i am really thankful to GIM because it has given me the first convert( i left the job long before and GIM convert was really a confidence booster).

GD Topic: Should India Regulate Internet Like China

GD was good. No Fish Market. Infact, good points given by the team so could build lot over that. New points that i include: Google threatening to take there business out of china if they keep the practice of hacking the human right activist's mail id(happened recently in China), How the emergency during Indira Gandi had effected the press and how regulation is Bad, On the same note accepted that attack on taj(26/11), and the role media played there(by revealing sensitive information) and on similar note revealing the position while Kargil war. So proposed to have self check not the regulation. Also said that Chinese younger generation can never know what happened in Tinenman Square as you cant find it in any website there(not even in wikipedia) so what if same human rights being targetted in Kashmir or say Manipur happened few years back. Overall good GD. All contributed well.

M: Yes sir, though similar thing happened with me while i was watching 'Chainsaw Massacre', in the half of movie I wanted to Switch it off, but just watched it fully because i want to see that the girl in the movie must live on.
P2: So the girl live on only because you kept watching the movie:)
M: No sir, i do not want to leave anything to my immagination, so completed the movie.

M: Told
P2: What do you think about the GD(Smiling:lookround:)
M: I wanted to make that point while in GD itself but could not make it beacuse our dear friend in GD said agressively 'Let me complete, let me complete'. So said that i want to make one more point.
P2: Ok, go ahead, tell us the point now.
M: Sir the regulation of the banking in 1969, and 1980's have made our economy not to face the global crisis.
P2: Made a statement, said that, that nothing have to do with regulation as other private bank also have to follow the same regulation as nationalized banks.
M: Admitted that, i had made a mistake.
P2: Go ahead, whose credit is it, that we have not faced the problem.
M: Sir, it's RBI, with the stringent policies and also the government using fiscal policies to stimulate the market.
P2: Asked many questions about the recession.
M: Answered, but personally felt that should have answered slowly. As it's with me that if i know the answere, i tend to get excited and start speaking fastly. And in that miss the link in between. But overall good experience.
P1: Why from Chemical to IT and then to MBA/
M: Answered honestly(money, financial stability)
P1: So you will repeat the same while in GIM, if you select elective as finance and go for HR just for money.
M: Answered it honestly.

Overall good experience. Panel was cool. I enjoyed it, the GD and the PI. No stress interview. Panel wanted to know you, more then make you uncomfortable. Good process overall.

PS: If you have the interview center as YMCA, International House, Mumbai Central, Mumbai, No need to take texi from Mumbai Central railway station(If you are more of walking guy). YMCA is near to railway station. Only say 1 km away, but texi will charge you 50 rs or more. So just walk to the hotel by asking anyone. If they do not know YMCA, just ask Maratha Mandir Theatre(yes where Dil wale dulhaniya le jayenge is running for 750th weak). YMCA is just next to that.

The best thing and the worst thing that has happened to you till date

Best thing
When i left my job. I even use to dream that the day when i will leave my job, i will be the happiest person. But when i left the job(for Good) i felt the void. I was not able to understand that void. But later i felt that, that void is life. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not to think for result even for a second and just to take effort and just effort. Nothing else. That is life. So that was the best thing in my life. Not to leave the job. But that void. That shows me that one day i will die. And there will be same void, i will be nowhere. So that made me feel that though i am nowhere , i can be anywhere and everywhere.


Worst thing
When i just joined the my job. That time i felt that now i conqured the world. I left my hunger to move on to the next level. I get satisfied and even i left idea to give cat(Break where i havent given the CAT). That year, done nothing. Only felt happy about job and big fat package(at that time only that mattered to me, nothing else).

You keep posting too! Making onnicles is just as fun, if not more!

Q- According to you what is life?

Have never thought about it before, but while thinking on questions like 'Why MBA' , 'Why now' had given thought process for it. According to me life is just a process, nothing else and we never grow old enough for it. We grow only when we die . Between that, like a child we see something and whatever appeals us we try to get it. Some plan for that some do not plan. Many philosopher says life is in a present moment and i followed it by giving full effort whatever decided to do. Then some ask question what is your long term plan. Now if i live in present moment how can i make long term plan. Yes, that is stupid of me to think like this, what will i eat if i do not plan or work in advance for it. But then what about present. So somewhere this balance is life. What to quote Sant KABIR HERE
