i wanted to ask abt the transport facilities around the campus area................r state transport or public transport facilities available n adequate...............how abt d infra of college hostel???????????:

The transport facilities are quite good,considering the distance from city,the buses(which are the major source of transprtation here) are frequent but then you might have to wait for a period of 0-15 mins(definitely depending on your luck on that specific day) before you can board one,and yes while returning back from city,u have to strictly follow the schedule of not only the buses but also college(buses are available from nagpur,till 9:30pm and college entry timings are upto 11:00pm,disregard of which can lead to fine of 500-1000 bugs)

now regarding infra,much have been posted earlier but i would just like to say that it is really commendable,including hostels which are definitely the integral part of the entire setup.

i saw the movie few days back and can easily say that this is one the very few movies which i would remember till eternity.firstly the title of the movie is as suitable as it can get.The movie is all about an ordinary salesman Chris Gardner,portrayed elegantly by Will Smith,his life and struggle for survival, how he keeps up the hope despite all odds, the emotions in the movie sometimes made me restless,wondering whether things would ever be well with Chris gardner and his sweet little son.

I would also like to mention some scenes which stand out among the whole lot of good ones,the scene in which Chris rushes for his interview and the subsequent interview process,the one in which he roams with his son searching for shelter for his kid.

Overall the best part as far as i am concerned was that the movie has many takeaways,many things which can work bigtime in real life scenario if we can keep ourselves motivated,although it as easier said than done.

yes, but now the things are clearing out and we can state that the average package this year is 5.22 lakhs,and this figure is an authentic one as it has been told to us by our director

hey friend,the sole purpose of starting this thread was/is that since we all are fortunate enough to have a platform like pagalguy, we can answer your basic querries reagrding the admission procedure and fundamental offerings by the college,we have always maintained that we are here only to inform you and in no way to convince you ,we can't make you or for that matter any one understand what is more important mba or specialisation ,we simply tell you what we were told/what is the prevelant procedure,regarding dual specialization and what does that exactly mean in quantitative terms(ie how much electives one can take etc) it is entirely upto ones own intellect thereafter regarding prospective advantages or disadvantages.

well...thanks for the useful post ...i have gone throught he Gd/PI process yesterday...GD was gr8....PI...dont even wanna talk about it....they pinned me also i could'nt answer a couple of questions....

one striking thing i noticed when i was discussing with the guyz who were wating wid me for their interview was tha o talked to atleast 30 odd guyz there...and when i asked them about joining IMT if shortlisted...nobody said "yes"....not a single person....everybody was like "mein to experience ke liye aaya hoon"...

it was pretty strange and was something hard to go by unnoticed....guess it was worth posting here.....i wanna ask other guyz who have attended GD/PI what was there experiencein this regard..?

Well friend it is infact strange to hear about this kind of mindset but if we ponder over this and try to view the situation from the present aspirants point of view one explaination which can be arrived at is(entirely my personal thought) all the candidates presently consider IMTN as nothing else but a mere subsidiary of IMTG and cant avoid thinking that just 3-4 more correct answers in cat would have landed them in gzb, but reality is much more fierce and the exact reality is that if that was the case then 3-4 more correct answers could well have landed them in iims,there is a famous saying in english which goes as "IF IFFS AND BUTTS WERE POTS AND PANS THERE WOULD BE NO TINKERS" at some or the other point we have to draw a boundary line,we after taking admission here very soon realised that the world behind that boundary(gzb),where we presently breathe is certainly worth living(sorry for being a bit philosophical) but,
one thing which really is a cause of discomfort for us here is that this situation was acceptable 1-2 years back,when this college was completely in its novicee stage,but now since we are making every possible attempt and to a large extent we have made our presence felt all across,the mindset of the aspirants(as you talked about) has not altered much.
On my personal front, i would advise you to make a call keeping all the things in mind,which you have came across all these days with respect to our college,right from our point of view to others.

myself a bangalore supporter,just for the sake of dravid( or conversely no team from lucknow to support ) but am really worried about the dearth of firepower in the team,afterall it is one of the main components of this format(looking forward to cameron white,who has a great reputation as a T-20 allrounder in australian domestic circuit),but the team is still not complete, hope some hitters get roped in,but one thing is sure that my team would last full 20 overs in every match,and sometimes that also makes a difference.

2.The 5 biggies(sachin,dravid,ganguly,sehwag and yuvraj) have been given iconic status and they will play for their respective cities and therefore are out of bidding process.3.Icon players price is calculated at 115% of next highest earning player in the same franchise
