Diesel is def a bad choice if you are not gonna use it frequently..(Thats why trucks use diesel)..If you are confident enuf that you can put on a lot of miles quickly, then go for it. CDRi is a good technology(developed intially by renault), and i have heard that it does decrease engine vibrations. But other faults like high natural frequencies of the engines, primary/ secondary balance of the crankshaft etc, makes life difficult for diesel..

Using diesel in passenger cars is ALWAYS an EXPERIMENT. C'mmon, Diesel is used to propel ships!!! not 1.5 or 3 lt engines!!!

It is still a field where there is no perticular answer to questions. If you carefully observe, same make disel cars give diferent engine problems. Some vibrate a lot, some dont vibrate at all.. The only advantage of diesel is the high torque that it generates, which is required on hilly regions. ON the other hand hilly regions are cold, and so there is the problem of starting the engine(although electronic ignition has come!)..So its all like a trade off...! Probably you have to ask yourself...What do you want out of the car? Racing? or high Utility(carying loads etc..)?

So, on the safer side, i would reccomend the use of petrol engines wherever possible.

Ye..i agree..But I do see some reliability problems with F2003 at the moment. I fully agree that Rory has again come up with a revolutionary design, but the question you should ask yourself is ''Upto what limit can he push?'' and the answer to this might be ''Thats it!'' F2002 is a splendid car with a great combination of speed, accuracy of estimation and reliability.

F2002 is clearly the winner of the century in terms of F1 cars..F2003GA will def. be faster than F2002 due to its strong aero package and the fact that the chassis is incredibily stiff (Thus allowing good roll moment distribution etc..), but dont be surpised if Schumacher pulls out one stunning lap in the F2003GA and retires in the next lap (due to reliability problems)

I think Ferrari are pushing for the new car too early. They could have waited for atleast 2 other circuit, let Luca put in some more miles, and then use it.. But ofcoz, Ferrari is our rival (In terms of my job), so lets wait and watch the show.

JPM will strike in a few grand prix races..he is suffering an aerodynamic problem due to which he is experiencing a bit of over steer..

Well Yea, I agree, getting chauffered is really mind blowing..Sometimes I get chauffered from parties which BMW Group host...So nice to get chauffered esp. when you are drunk and if its a BMW 7series:angel:...B4 you are home,you are already asleep in the car:wink:
