If the info given to you by the lady at Chetana is correct then you have relieved me of a lot of tension. Wow Chetana stopped at 129?? Its quite amazing. for the lesser mortals like me, it is Lala's.

Just 1 more thing...going by the trend last year, the cut off dates for dte admissions was extended from 5/9/2011 to 30/9/2011, so probably the same may happen this year as well. Now when are the selected candidates for CHetana ILS going to be called, atleast I'll know whether in or out for once.

To address your first query, see if you cancel the admission say on 16th Aug and classes have already commenced on 05th Aug but the seat is allotted to someone else before 20th Aug, then your entire 1 month fees will be cut before giving you the refund amount. If the seat is not filled then you will get no refund. However, I am unsure whether they will allow students to join the college after 20th Aug.

As far as your second query goes, I am no expert and am joining the college this year like you, so I cannot tell you which one is better as I don't have a strong reason to back my statement. BUTTTT as far as the rankings go, based on faculty, placement, infra, etc. Met=Xaviers>Chetana>IES>LALA.

From what I understand is that till the lectures have commenced in the colleges, one can cancel admission with a penalty of 1k and thereafter if u cancel a month's fee will be cut till the time the seat is filled by another student. If what I have understood is true, then you will end up losing only 10-15k at IES and will get a better brand overall at MET.

I have got Lala first shift (@ 120/240) and though I don't have any expectation as such from Chetana ILS, given a chance, I would definitely upgrade without a doubt for a loss of 10-15k.

Hey congrats for making it through in MET MMS. How much do you reckon will the cancellation charges be in IES for you in case you want to switch?? Do let us know.

I too have applied for ILS at CRKIMR. I called them yesterday and they told me that due to the high number of applications they have got, they are taking time to scrutinize them. Also that if one is selected s/he will be called and informed about the same by this week the latest (although I am not expecting much after the negative feedback I have got for such type of seats).
