Sorry to say dudes but looks too tough...I am almost in the same boat as you...with 87.5 and average acads. SIIB has clearly stated that it is going to give profile based calls. Surprisingly, while filling the forms, we were asked only about our acads and work-ex. So that's it! I feel SIIB gives more weightage to acads. So i have a prime fear this time that SIIB may turn out giving acad-based calls just like SCMHRD did. Best of luck to all you puys. Hope we just push thru the closing gates.....

It is difficult to accept the "profile based call" thing cuz there is hardly any data about individual profiles that SIIB form has captured. Just acads and your job title dont constitute ur entire profile, does it?
Any ways, let the cutt-off be below 90 Amen!

Please post your rank. But from my observation for this score, your rank should be above 6000. If thats the case, then your chances are slimmer for all the IITs.



You could get a call from IITR. Rest other IITs are quite difficult.



Go for IIT K, M & R. For Kgp, your chances are small. Rest other IITs your chances are bleak.

Hello to all Puys aspiring for FMS!

I think I am the first one to see this error (since I unsuccessfully searched the thread for the same, and thats what worries me!). Here is a part of the email I have sent to the FMS admissions office.

"I am trying to fill the online application for FMS 2010. I am filling all the information correctly to the best of my knowledge and I have all the three required scans viz. Photo, Signature, left thumb print.

However, while clicking on the submit tab I see a pop-up alert saying Please select different center! and on clicking OK I am taken back to the same filled form with the Choice of center 2nd choice highlighted. I have tried to change the centers and even filling the form all over again twice with no successful results."

I am not sure how soon i shall hear from FMS.
I dont think I have made any error in data entry. But if any seniors or candidates successful with the online application can help on this.

this is about MILE.....
i had my IV on 11th july and got selected by Monday(13th). I am just not too sure if MILE wud hv a good prospect in cming years? it hs good and experienced board of pannel (good number of CXOs there), bt if we join....its gonna b da 1st batch. I need 2 inputs from concerned ppl:

1. Seniors, who can guide in selection, please help by reviewing the website and any specific questions we shud ask ourselves to decide on taking admission.
