Hey all!

Now that the D-day has come upon us, here r some things that can come in handy for u.
Tips that helped me during my interview & GD:

1. Always be calm & confident.
2. In a GD be assertive not aggressive.
3. Don't try to dominate others but be a team player, listen to wht others have to say..& then respond to their point.(at any point in time try & avoid a "fish market" scene.)
4. try & make ur presence felt.
5. always have a smile on ur face & a positive attitude in ur mind.
6. Brush up ur basics.
7. & last but not the least "BE UR SELF"!!!

hope these points can help u as they had helped me.

guys i m in the core committee(administration) for the GD & interview so i will be hanging around, any of u guys coming there can just ask for me(SHIVANSHU MISHRA) & can avail my assistance.

now dat the D-day is coming closer, the action on this thread is pickin up!!
i must say i m very impressed with the kind of healthy & useful interaction that is taking place here..all credit goes to people like gaurav & asheesh not to forget others..

like gaurav has been sayin, for ur interview plz brush up ur basics from ur grad subs. cos academics is given higher weightage here compared to other institutes..& u can really gain a distinct advantage, if u know ur subjects..

& to answer shveta's query let me tell u like u even i m a BIOTECH. grad from OSMANIA UNIV., HYD..
for ur interview shveta, u can expect questions on life scienes & genetics..plz go through chemistry as well if u have had a paper in it..

& as far as GD is concerned it can be any thing under the sun.. so be prepared fo any thing..the trick is not to be tensed & keep ur cool, so u can think logically..just try & make ur presence felt & have some content in wht ever u r speaking & most imp look comfortable & at ease.

by the way my GD topic was" Is it enough to look efficient or one should also be efficient":wow: ha ha..

that is why im putting up at DWARKA as PG(parental guidance) !!!!
