can anyone give some info on OBC-NC and income certificate,
while filling the application i dint find this kind of specification so i filled it as OBC as i belong to tht, though i dont come in NC-OBC, how much it gonno affect in admissions..?

if u r selected in obc category its mandatory fr u to produce NC-OBC certificate . if u dont belong to NC OBC categ u will b treated as OC canditate . NC OBC is the most imporatant document to confirm your admission under the reservation category

NITT is a central govt institution and the fee amount is very nominal so getting a bank loan will not be a problem at all . once u got the admission u can try for bank loans .

yes u can submit it later they will ask u to give an undertaking statmnt that u will produce all the necessary documents , even v faced the same problems it is not a matter of conern

I am waitlisted at 18 in TN category.I belong to OBC.Is there any chance of me making it?
And should i submit a fresh OBC non creamy layer certificate or can i submit the one obtained last year as it is valid for one year?Need some clarification about the income certificate also.

johny as far now v cant tell you exactly whether you can make it or not because it totally depends on the first list candidates turn out . As far your OBC certificate you can produce the certificate if its still valid durin the date of admission if the one year period is over its better you renew it

1) i am non-TN candidate & category is OBC but I have been shown as OC candidate in final selection list. Any particular reason for this? i had shown all documents.

2) now i am selected under oc category. won't i b considered as obc candidate even i have all the documents?

3) As i have left job last year, will i need to produce course cert, conduct & character cert? in case yes, how can i get them?

4) what is procedure to cancel admission once confirmed? and fees deducted?

ok im nt jinson but let me answer your ques to my knowledge .
1. REG ur Category ,you are selected in oc category bcz your marks during gd and pi are above the general cat cutoff which means u will b treated as general cat fr admission only wen u dont make it through general cat your reservations will b considered .
2. course certificate will be your UG degree , conduct certificat you can get from your colg principal or your higher officials in the org
3. After paying the fees u can cancel your admission stating the reasons in the office 1000rs processing fee will be deducted but it will b wise if you make your decision clearly cz people in wait list need not wait for a long time.

the mess food wont be a prob fr u guys , u will hav rottis daily and almost half the class is frm north india and they are managin it pretty well , as for your room its purely random its based on first come first serve basis.
