Lots a information here. But cudn't get any info about whether the FMS - FT form needs to be filled with pen or pencil. Cud any of u clarify regarding the same? 1 of my friends tried to call FMS but there's no reply. Wud be great to get an answer and wud be thankful for the same.

i am waiting for the I+IMS=IIMS pencils from IMS. maybe they can change my nose-diving percentiles. the nataraj red hb pencils have lost the earliers Sim magic they used to weave.

am of the same bunch, started preparing after a surprisingly pleasant 95%tile in SimCAT 1. now that i've started preparing, my scores r going down. in the last SimCAT i reached rock-bottom, 72%tlie:wow:. hope to do the repairs before CAT or else will be stranded for yet another year.

anyone in the same boat as mine? doing what right now to mend ur scores?suggestions welcome from ppl who have maintained consistency.

i got the same centre as last yr, IES Dadar. hope it does augur well for me, last yr i got a very very low score.

had a look at my scores yesterday. had a TERRIBLE MCT3 last night. so today didnt really feel like posting my scores. but saw some ppl that one shudnt lose hope. still dont feel that positive but still will try and analyse MCT3 when i go back home.

my scores:
Sct 1: 17
Sct 2: 18.16
Sct 3: 3.33
Sct 4: 4.33 (got 1 more wrong than expected, other sections confirmed to what i had calculated)
Overall: 42.82 (92.** percentile)

seriously, i find it difficult to analyse a paper if the score falls below 40. anyways, bye.

i have heard IIM A looks for good accuracy for rest i dont know..

i agree with u. i met a L&T; guy when going to pune. he told me of a case in CAT 2003 where a guy attempted a very modest 52 questions, but got them all right. he got an A call, while others with more overall as well as sectional percentiles didn't.

but let me also tell u that the previous yr when i cudnt grapple with the level of CAT, my IMS centre manager suggested aiming for a higher overall percentile, rather than trying to cope with ur difficult areas at the last minute. so it really depends on the comfort level u have with the mock cats which shud help u decide about accurracy or the overall score.

since i'm still not very comfortable with PS and DI (i screw up either or both of them in every mock), i aim to increase my score with english. still the time division remains equitable, coz u never know when PS and DI might offer sitters while the english part may screw u.

saw the scores around. didnt do so well, but it wasnt that bad also. except when in compare my scores with mr. akshat or the others in 50s and 60s.

my scores:
Sct 1: attempted 21/right 18/wrong 3/score 17
Sct 2: 25/20/5/18.16
Sct 3: 6/4/2/3.33 :x (tried solving many, but was stuck and moved on to the others)
Sct 4: 11/7/4/5.66
Total: 44.16 (expect around 92-93%tile)

and they should ban religious processions in places where SimCATs are held. seriously. in bandra, there was a religious procession passing by and the dhols kept pounding till around 10-12 min. was a major nuisance.
