Can the conclusion be be negative, given that none of the statements are negative??

answer is option (2) reason for that is by just seeing it we can say that to get flower in the conclusion we need sentences
some flowers are buds.
all buds are petals.
as one is universal affirmative and other one particular affirmative hence on a conclusion which will be particular affirmative can be drawn...but here that is universal negative which is not possible...and rest of the 2 conclusion can be checked....

Yeah thats fine but my query was how are we getting 3rd one in conclusio fragance has been made distrbuted while in statemets it is not. Isn't it so that we can make distributive i coclusion only if it is in statements?? If we do it by rules we wont be getting 3rd one?? kindly clarify

But you are right 3rd will also follow as per the answer key but I am still not able to get how can we make it distributed. Rule no 7 I guess it is.
