It's been a long long time since I have put any blacks into white over here. PG design is changed, frequently appeared IDs are changed, status are changed but the only thing that has remained unchanged is Rohit's persuasive nature who made me return to PG and post here finally. I m lovin' it.

This PG meet is too tempting to even think of escaping. So, count this oldie IN. AYE!

I have a little serious issue here. I applied for HR.I gt overall 95 and in no section less than 30 but still havent got a call from IMI(HR)..I do not remember my application number but my cat number is 6240675 .I havent recieved any kind of confirmation of my form from IMI. CAn somebody please help me out?How to go about it now??

Do you have any photocopy of the form or any other document through which we can trace ur form? However, either Nikhil or me will check with admission office tom if CAT Regi. no. is good enough to serve the purpose.

HHi...Does IMI demands sectional cut-offs?
I have score of 7 in VA and overall-95. Should I apply???

Traditionally IMI looks for min. 50%ile sectional cut off.

But, lotsa things are slated to change this year and I have no idea which all. Sectional cut off, overall cut-off are major ones expected. In case IMI decides to go for profile based call, which is being devised, cut off might not matter much.

Hi my CAT scores are as follows

QA - 22
DI - 47
VA - 32/22

OA - 101/91

Is it enough to ensure a call from IMI...am worried bout the 91 overall score

Scores alone doesn't give any estimation here since %ile is what all matters. Also, chances are hight that IMI might give profile based calls and might divorce its love with high %ile.

It doesn't work that way dude.

You need to apply to HR course as well or else you wouldn't get HR call.

Whats the take on the campus regarding cutoffs this yr

Expect the unexpected @ placements this year. Names, that any Bschool would evny us for...Salary, something none of us ever thought of...many of us will walk away with foreign placements and many more with double digit figures and entry of world known i-banks on campus....more is expected, jusss wait up a lil bit more

We have already cracked mangament fests of campuses like IIMA, IIMI, MDI, FMS, IIFT, XIMB, IMT Ghz, IMI, Kirloskar, ICFAI Hyd, FORE, (winning 1st or 2nd prizes at all these places). Also, we won (1st prize) all India competitions of AIMA and Asian Paints.

We have had 4 big events on campus full of sponsorships, gerat speakers (of the ranks of Directors/Mktg head) of companies like Pepsi, Nestle, Perfetti, Samsung in Mktg summit, KPMG, IL&FS;, E&Y; (all I banking arms of these co.) for Fin summit, 20 companies HR heads in HR summit and now almost 6-7 CEO level speakers for Entreprenurial conclav and BIG surprises are queuing up for Kritva :)

IMI is achieving newer heights everyday.
