Its not like that ....i have know several people who have completed their pgdm and and pursued higher studie....i want to know which course you want to do after mba also where pgdm degree is not accepted?

i want to do executive mba

WEll as you told MBA is the degree provided by a university and is UGC recognised its correct....well u want to say those who pursue pgdm cant go fr higher studies....ok can u name any which dont take pgdm degree?
if that was the case according to statistics more students are pursuing pgdm and many pursuing higher studies after that.....

first of all.....let me make myself clear, PGDM is not a degree, it's a certification as i told u earlier also :)
And ppl who r gng for higher studies after pursuing PGDM course must have pursued another degree course(postgraduation) which may be thru corres also...

Pgdm and mba have a huge difference.
MBA is the degree provided by a university and is UGC recognised. MBA is a post graduation course while it's not so in the case of pgdm.
PGDM is just a certification from an autonomous institute that the person has done a course from a respective institute and it is EQUIVALENT to a degree but NOT a degree and u r nvr called a post graduate (in case u hvn't done any other postgraduate course) and u can't go for higher studies which require post graduation.
That's the reason i don't want to go for PGDM but a MBA degree.

Akansha: I strictly oppose for correspondence MBA...AS u have scored well in ur competitive exams y dont u think fr regular MBA. Talking of ICFAI HYD is nice Compared to other ICFAIs...But here also u have to make a huge investment around 10-12 lacs fr it and i dnt think u ll get the ROI from it. i came accross many individuals did their mba frm hyd icfai and they r roaming on streets sweating looking fr jobs.I suggest u go fr regular MBA and here are some colleges on which u can trust and invest and u will be benefited.

Can u please suggest me with some colleges which provide MBA degree instead of diploma?
I don't want to go for a diploma course bcoz in case i need to go for higher studies it won't be helpful to me...:|

I completed my graduation, i.e., BBA(G) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2011. After that i filled forms for many competitive exms - MAT, CAT, XAT, IBSAT and SNAP.
I got 88 percentile in sept MAT (valid upto Sept 2012).
XAT 2012- 64 percentile
and got a call from ICFAI.

Earlier i was sure to do a regular MBA... and from the options what I have best is icfai.
But somebody told me that one of his friends had gone for MBA from Icfai, hyderabad and hasn't got any placement. The person suggested me to join a job and do MBA thru correspondence so that i dnt have any burden on me of paying back loan and searching for a job after wasting 2 years of my life.

What wil u people suggest me?
Does distance learning has value in market?
If yes, which is the best institute/university for the same?
