407 students, up from 300 students in 2008 took part in the summer placement process of IIM Calcutta for the batch of 2009-2011. The process, which lasted six days from November 4 to November 9, consisted of three slots, each of two days. 140 companies participated, 30 more than the 110 companies that participated in 2008

IIM Kozhikode announced the successful completion of summer placements for its thirteenth batch (2009-11). The summer placements season witnessed participation by over 120 firms as opposed to 102 firms in 2008. Organizations such as Arthur D Little, KPMG, Hewitt, J P Morgan Chase, Citigroup, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank, HUL, Pepsico, Colgate Palmolive participated in the placements. The highest stipend offered this year was over Rs. 1,00,000 inclusive of perks and allowances. Last year too, the highest stipend of Rs 1 lakh was offered by Coca Cola.

The Summer Placements process for the 2009-11 batch of the Agri-Business Management (PGP-ABM) programme at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad ended on the fourth day with 17 firms recruiting 34 students.
