Jammu and Kashmir is shown divided in the map of India. This is objectionable. please remove it and upload a fresh map recommended by Government of India.

y can we not just take things in the spirit they are meant to be? I mean a xtra line on a roughly drawn map, does this really make enough impact to raise a hullabaloo over it? Next we will have people objecting to the states not being drawn to scale!!
pandit_pujari @Dhiresh1009 We do take things in the spirit. that is why we are saying only to modify it and not creating "hullabalooo" like you said but MIND IT, Everybody all over the world has access to PG and other nationals might perceive that Indians have started accepting Kashmir to be divided. So, popular media has to be extra cautious. PERIOD.
aniket1989 @pandit_pujari Does the govt recommending a particular map really change the present fact! Fact is we've been crybabies and haven't been able to defend our territories from falling into foreign hands. And i'm indeed ashamed of this fact.

PG guys.. you dont need to apologise ! None of us (including the one who objected and me) can change the fact that some of Kashmir's territories have been captured..Education didn't teach us to respect the views of people residing there.. But it taught us to come up with objections in the name of patriotism..
pandit_pujari @aniket1989 whatever it is, that was my suggestion for the PG and they accepted. I am firm believer of the rights of the people but it is also our duty to respect constitutional provisions. I just did what I ought to do and so did PG.

Lol... The comments were more funnier than the cartoon....No wonder our politics is this bad. A cartoon map can create such flutter... Really lame
wickedprad @sphinx498 :- I really feel whoever we are ,freshers, iitians, iim guys or inexperienced puys, we are Indians after all. So even if it may sound uncool to create a hullabaloo over a map, we should remember it is the map of India and she deserves respect.

Seeing some comments here, especially tinkugadu's (the 'in the name of patriotism' part), I would rather say our education system has failed terribly. I see more and more people, especially well educated ones, behaving as if patriotism is something to be abhorred. Its our duty to stand behind GoI on these issues, no matter if reality is something else. Its written in our constitution that Kashmir is integral part of our nation, that is our official position and we should stand behind it. We should just let our claim go if the part is occupied with Pak? Will you let go of your claim on your home if somebody occupied it? Is India as a whole not your home? It has become a fashion these days to be extremely leftist in views and then saying everyone who is patriotic or even slightly right an extremist. I am sad, but not surprised though, seeing these comments here though, coming from people in IIMs (and I myself am in an IIM so I know what I am saying). In a much less privileged small village somewhere in remote corner of India, people would've stood together in saying that no matter, whole Kashmir should be in our map.

uploading the wrong map of india on an indian forum is akin to perdition; in this age of censorship this might create difficulties. good that the map was modified asap..
suryanshsisodia @tinkugadu u talk about views of people, india has hundreds of regional identities, so should it be divided accordingly? only the indian side of kashmir is asking for 'aazadi'. ever bothered to know what POK is called? 'Azad kashmir'... yes, when kashmir goes from indian hands to pakistani side it becomes 'azad'.. all this nonsense talk is building up in our country because we are made to believe that this nation came into being on 15 aug 1947. i agree with @kittoo4202004 that the public discourse in our country is dominated by the "left" and it is fiercely intolerant to any other point of view.
