I recently saw 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. Nice movie, good special effects and the '80s mix tape is already a hit in the US. If you are a science fiction fan, you are going to love it. Overall a good watch. Go for it!

The apes are among the more intellectually complex characters you're likely to spend time with this summer. A lot of care and imagination have been spent on the creation of their world and it deserves to be widely appreciated. Review of 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes'

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Trust and Co-Existence - MovieRoundup
"Godzilla" did it few weeks ago, changed the perspective of a summer blockbuster. It reminded us that a summer attraction need not be always be about mass destruction, mayhem and full throttle action, and that it could also be a film with intelligence, great visual effects and an emotional core that you find in Matt Reeves's "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes", which effortlessly rewriters blockbuster movie formulas.

Review of the atrociously bad #Humshakals

Humshakals: Nine Whine
Movie: Humshakals Director :Sajid Khan Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Tamannah Bhatia and Eesha Gupta Rating: * Humshakals is an attempt at underestimating the audience's appetite for mindlessness. Sajid Khan akin to a Rohit Shetty is desperate to create his exclusive brand of over-the-top comedy.

2 States : College Life-Funny-Emotional

2 States as of till now we have only heard in Novels but this time its on screen by Abhishek Varman. A complete dose of Love Story and Entertainer Package. As The Novel '2 States' is all about the true life of the writer Chetan Bhagat, The whole story in the novel is cast to a fantastic movie which gives a complete package to the viewers, and again this movie never let me bore or sit idol of minute each scene and dialog is perfectly matched with the situation, It has a starting with college life than comedy after that Romance than Problems with little Turns and Little Emotional with a Happy Ending which is completely family entertainment package and also a Reality. So go out watch 2 States and explore yourself. BOTH Arjun and Aaliya did their job well. And once again good performance from Ronit Roy after my favorite UDAAN.

@palliative1989 : Theatre me dekho na ... recently I came across a person who saw Gravity on 16 inch laptop [ or 17 or 19 - whatever inch they are ] and said " Hall me zyaada achchi lagti " .. If you are watching on Laptop/PC make sure that atleast a dvd print is out .. camprints are worst so yes theatre experience would have been better

Tried watching a pirated version of it online. Frankly speaking, I stopped after the first 30 minutes or so. The sublime and poignant moments that the reviews had raved about are kind of lost if the voice is scratchy and the movie takes hours to boot. A theater experience may be better.
Endless Love. Though I am a sucker for romantic movies and romance in general, this movie made me want to gag despite its excellent cinematography and beautiful locations. Why, in the whole wide world would a guy stop his girlfriend from doing the one thing that she is destined to pursue? During the course of the movie, the heroine has the chance to go on a medical internship that the script and the heroine's dad makes us want to believe, is very important for her. The girl, being oh-so-innocent, chooses to remain back with her boyfriend because she loves him. The guy being the sweet- as-virgin-candy (and if I might add, a douche-bag) gentleman, happily acquiesces. And so begins the endless love that all of us gals long for and fight for. My a**. Still I suffered through the utopian movie hoping for a twist, but alas, one should keep only so much hope for such mindless movies.

@arunreddyiitd I did try..frankly speaking, got a bit bored. However, as an effective analgesic, I watched "Enough Said" after the "Endless" fiasco. Give me a romance I can understand and a plot that doesn't have me yawning and I am hooked.

@palliative1989 Do watch Perks of being a Wallflower. A very good high school drama with some genuine moments that make you smile
